  We announced our parents at a dinner they thought it was a regular dinner And I announced my mother face to face while she didn't expect the rest of our family members, we called them. Our best friends with phone also, Nothing planned but I am planning to take cute pregnancy pictures with our dogs after the bump shows and put it to Instagram so rest of our friends will learn that way

  We told my family yesterday. It worked out perfectly because the reason we were visiting anyway was to get family photos with the whole family. I contacted the photographer beforehand and asked if she could help us reveal the news. For the final pose she had everyone together with my husband and I in the middle, she gave us a chalkboard to hold that said "and one more on the way! Baby due March 2016" without anyone else seeing it. She then told everyone to look at the camera and say "Jamie's pregnant!" She was able to catch their reactions to the news. It was so cute. My parents were thrilled and my nieces and nephews were like "is this a joke!!!??" Haha

  My mom and sister both live out of state so I had to tell them over the phone. In hindsight I probably could have done a skype session but I didn't want to wait! I wanted to go over to my in-law's house to tell them in person but my husband couldn't wait either. A few days later his dad called to make sure I was still pregnant and it wasn't some kind of joke lol 

  We're still waiting to tell the rest of our family and friends in some well thought out way.

  Going to visit my family this week! Nervous about the car trip, but we're leaving in the afternoon and I'll be driving (I tend to be better when I am in control of the car ) Planning to let my fam know this week and DH's family in August on his mom's birthday. I'm also planning to tell one or two of my close mama friends so I have some insight and advice from friends who've been through pregnancy recently. I'm super excited and can't wait for the reactions. I'm also super cautious since I haven't even had a Dr appointment yet... but I need my family's support (especially my mom )

  I told my parents yesterday. We were just chatting and I told them that DS has been working on a new word. I kept whispering it to him, but he wouldn't say it. So finally I has to say, 'well, his new word is brother!' They were so excited. We'll tell DH's family and everyone else in 6 weeks at DS's second bday party. I can't wait!

  
  BFP #1 8/25/12 EDD 4/28/13 Blighted Ovum, D&C 9/20/12 at 8w6d. I'll always remember the first one. My baby Grace. BFP #2 12/26/12 EDD 9/4/13. DS born 9/7/13. My sweet rainbow.

  We told the parents a few days after I got my BFP. We are waiting to tell the rest of the family and our close friends until we get through our first US this week. Assuming things go well and we make it to the second trimester we are planning on announcing to the world on our 2nd wedding anniversay at the end of September since by then we will be into the second trimester.
