Constipation & IVF.....help!

I'm in the middle of my first IVF cycle and I'm experiencing some constipation. Has anyone else experienced this, and what did you do for releif? Between this and my ovaries I'm getting very uncomfortable

yep, i sure did! after retrieval was even worse! COFFEE!

I just had a laparoscopy and Senokot was recommended. After a few days of constipation, I gave in and it helped a lot. It's a natural product you take at night, and you go in the morning (but nothing awful).

I also had constipation and still do with the PoI shots. I take 2 fiber pills a day citrucel an some days I'll take 4- 2 in the am and 2 in the pm.

When my sister was pregnant she was extremely constipated and she was told to drink lots and lots of water!

I am going through my first ivf cycle cd9 :-) and yes I have the same issue. I have been taking fiber with minimal relief and drinking a tea called smooth move it's all natural and doesn't cause cramping. You can get it at most grocery stores.Hope this helps.
