Yesss.... I'm scheduled for a 5 night stretch of 12s.... I'm dreading it!
  • 5 12s??? Ugh that does not even sound like a little fun
  • I do! I do! ER Nurse working 6p-6a... Work the next two nights, on call on Saturday.

My DH works nights as a police officer as well... Not sure what we will do once baby comes! We both love working nights but have no idea what we would do for childcare.
  • Me!! Im a nurse working the normal 11-7, my hubby is also a police officer he works 6p-4a. I felt totally ill at the end of my shift this morning!
  • I work as a bartender so my hours vary but usually are pretty late. I deff take a lot more naps than I ever have before! I get nauseas during my shifts (go figure) and being around all the different foods and smells of beer and alcohol are getting harder every day!
  • This morning at 6am (I get off at 7) was the first time I felt just AWFUL. Also my first time working since I found out over the weekend. I don't know if I didn't bring enough food or just overdid it with walking around but WOW I was ready to leave!
  • I do! I'm a Paramedic and I work 2 day shifts (6a-4p) then 2 night shifts (4p-6a) then thankfully 4 days off. Those night shifts are going to be a bear as time goes on (who am I kidding? I'm already beat! lol).

I'm currently alternating between days and nights. My sleep is so messed up which makes being tired all the time so much harder!
  • 9p-7a here! And it's terrible. Once 5 am hits, I'm done for and want to go home to sleep.
