Growth spurt

DD is 7 weeks and going through a growth spurt. She's wanting to eat at least every 2 hours, day and night. Sometimes she eats and other times she just latches on and hangs out with the nipple in her mouth then when I try to move her she wakes up. For those of you that experienced the growth spurt already how long did it last? My Wonder Weeks app says we have 7 more days. Please tell me that's not true!

    I think its different for every baby but mine went through a growth spurt at 6 weeks and i think again at 8. Goood luck. :)

    I think this is the 8 week growth spurt. She is 7 weeks now but born 9 days late. According to Wonder Weeks which goes by due date she was to go through a change between 7.5 and 9.5 weeks. That's means we are halfway through. Just wondering if the growth spurt really lasted the full 2 weeks for others. It is getting so exhausting with feeding every hour or two!

    Yeah we had a week of sleeping for 7-8 hours overnight and a ton during the day. Then bam- sleeping only 3-4 hours overnight. I think we have a few days left on the wonder weeks too. Good luck! Feed them babies! Haha

    Lo's worst growth spurt was also at 7 weeks she fed every 1-2 hrs and always wanted the nipple in her mouth too, it lasted about 2.5-3 days

    I'm pretty sure my 10 week old is going through one too. He spent the whole week fussy, barely sleeping, and eating all the time, then today he decided he just wants sleep!!

    I have an almost 12 week old that has gone from eating every 3hrs to wanting to eat every two & he has been fussier than normal. I hope he snaps out of it soon.

    Hang in there. For the past 3 nights DD was awake every one to two hours and super fussy at bed time and all through the night unless she was sleeping on me. Last night she went down pretty easily and just slept 6.5 hours. Yay!! Of course DH was away for work the last 3 days and now that daddy's home she's a perfect angel lol.

    @kbradley721 my little guy was giving me a run for my money yesterday afternoon. As soon as he's in daddy's arms then oh, I'm ok. I'm with dad. I'm sick of you mom. Haha

    My 11.5 week old is eating at least every 2 hours. Yesterday my breast feeding app calculated 6.10 hours of nursing. I'm exhausted and my boobs hurt! He is also resisting naps, and fussing more than normal. Where is my pleasant baby? To make things a little more interesting.. Baby prefers me to anyone. I'm a makeup artist with an in home studio. I just had a client this morning, who I thankfully know well, and DS cried with daddy more than half the time my client was here. Hopefully tomorrow is better, because I have another makeup client. Fingers crossed!

    Oh i forgot to add, lo will probably sleep better after this! Mine added an hour or 2 to her sleep at night! So hang in there and you shall be rewarded!
