Dual Nursing and Pumping Bra( all in one) Recommendations?? — The Bump

Dual Nursing and Pumping Bra( all in one) Recommendations??

I am heading back to work in a few weeks. I will likely have to pump three times/day while I am there. Does anyone have an all in one/nursing and pumping bra recommendation? Currently, I use the Medela band hands free "bra" over the nursing bra I am using. I am not a huge fan. It stretches out very easily and the zipper is pretty week. Ideally, as my time to pump is very limited, I could find a great all in one so I don't have to spend time taking off and putting on a second pumping bra. However, let me know any set up you use if you love it! Thanks.

For dual pumping, I simply took an old sports bra and cut holes into it. Cheap AND effective--I'm working as well and it's worked like a dream; can type, etc while pumping.

  • I can only warn against the Simple Wishes 3-in-1! It shows way too much under clothing, and stretches easily (there are already little rubber strings fraying around the seams and I've had it for less than two weeks).

I like the Simple Wishes pumping bra so far, but have only had it a few days.
  • As far as strictly a pupming bra the Simple Wishes one is great. I used it a few days and it really holds well and is adjustable like crazy. Fir me it was too much hassle putting it on all the time (i'm exclusively pumping sahm and I just prefer to lift my shirt and hold the flanges with my arms to my body) so i returned it. Not sure it there are good dual iptions though.
  • Why would there be a need for a nursing bra and a pumping bra? What is the difference between the 2 bras? And why would someone exclusively pump? Just wondering. I'm so confused.

@BrookeBrown2015 A pumping bra helps with being hands free during a pump session. Some women pump during their commute to work, and obviously you need your hands for that. There are many more reasons for why women choose this bra. Pumping is time consuming. Google the bra and you can see the difference.
And anyone can have a reason to exclusively pump, in fact it could just be a choice; there does not need to be a reason. Personally, I went back and forth between nursing and semi-exclusively pumping, because my husband enjoyed feeding our son. It's a lot of work, but it was worth it in the end.
    Hope this helped.
