New here and IUI question

Hi there I'm new here and looking for some advice. I was diagnosed with PCOS over 3 years ago however at that time we were not ready to TTC. I had weight lose surgery 2 years ago and I believe that has helped me to ovulate more regularly, however I do not show signs every cycle. My husband and I would like to start TTC so I went back to my RE a couple weeks ago to come up with a game plan. I had blood work and my husband had his seman tested. I did ovulate (which I knew because I had signs) my husband had a good sperm count but the morph was 11% and they would like it to be over 29%. I'm 33 and he is 35, we obviously want to be pregnant ASAP. My RE is more than happy to start Femara + IUI for my next cycle. Would you do this without even TTC first? I feel kinda guilty about skipping straight IUI for some reason? I realize are more likely to have twins, which is great, my only concern is a healthy pregnancy and babies of course.

    You can take the drugs and then have sex. Or do IUI and still have sex. I think it depends really how desperate you are. I personally have tried for 14 months already and now doing IUI because I just had enough. If you are not there yet then maybe try naturally for a few months.

    You can try naturally first with the drugs, if that's what you want to do. Your doctor can make recommendations but at the end of the day it's what you and your DH feel is right. :) GL!

    9/15/2015: BFP HCG - 400, 9/17/2015: HCG - 827, 9/21/2015 - HCG 3,327!

    BFP: 4/20/2018
    EDD: 12/29/2018
