Whoa, had a cracker nightmare last night that i had bad cancer and i was supposed to get chemotherapy and that i would probably loose the baby. Anyone else had them... However the other night i saved a bunny rabbit in my.dreams.
I keep having weird dreams about random stuff. At least 3x an old flame has popped up... 1 of my students was a classmate if mine in a dream and I just kept telling him he was 13 and how did he get to the college campus without his mom... another one had me and my coworker in a football/ballet competition and we won... just weird randomness
I have had a weird dream every night for months. Started before I even had a posting test. My dream last night was a needed my head amputated. But for some reason after it was amputated and it was just my body I could still think and walk around. And even in my dream I was thinking this makes no sense. I woke up so confused.
I am loving most of these pregnancy dreams lol. I started writing them down. Thought it would be funny to look back at. I've had ones ranging from just getting a new camera to play with (I'm a photographer so this excited me ) to waiting for like an earthquake to happen but it didn't so I went out and explored and found two huge great white sharks beached on the shore. Then cute little ones like seeing the little baby walk for the first time. I've had a couple nightmares so just veeeeery strange dreams but for the most part they are amusing. I actually had a dream help me tell my family about the pregnancy cause I was scared to but in the dream it went well so I did it the next day and it went good too!
I had my first dream last night. We had had the baby and instead of going home from the hospital we went to hang out at my mom's house. Before we knew it was 9pm and I hadn't fed the baby all day so we rushed out but then realized we didn't have a car seat. Oh it was horrible like we completely failed as parents on day 1.
I feel like my dreams have become sooo vivid. Writing them down is such a great idea! I also noticed that I've also become a light sleeper which is no fun for a girl who likes to sleep with the windows open. Nothing like a 5 am wake up call from a bird outside!
I'm glad I searched for this. Lol. I've had some weird ones lately, most recently I dreamed I was taking a shower and couldn't get the deodorant off my armpits. I had my boyfriend bring me dawn dish soap and that didn't even do it. By the end my pits were bleeding.
I had a dream last night that I was a time traveler like on quantum leap. I've not watched an episode of quantum leap since.. Well, possibly never, but at least a very, very long time. Weird stuff.
Earlier in the week I was dreaming about feeding my nine month old. Afterwards he was fussy so I was holding and rocking him. I started stroking his cheek to soothe him and realized he was wearing glasses. Well that wasn't right. Then suddenly he had a beard as well. Definitely wasn't right.
I vaguely remember waking up and realizing I was trying to rock my husband and was smacking his face when he wasn't cooperating.

Haha! He should have just let you nurture him dang it.

Lol! Here I was just thinking the dingbat slept with his glasses on again. I had these same dreams so much right after my son was born. I had a particular pillow I would frequently try to nurse in my sleep. He said I'd punch him in my sleep and tell him to get the baby when the baby would be sound asleep. The dreams don't end immediately with delivery.
I had a dream last night that involved hiding from Hitler and two of his cronies at my mom's house under piles of laundry. WTF.
Holy cow. I had a dream way pre-pregnancy about Hitler after taking melatonin. I was a double spy and then Germany ended up being in Narnia. Well, we sent all the Jewish people to a special place in Narnia that was supposed to be a resort of some type. We went back years later and the animals had enslaved them and we had to free them again. I woke up totally confused and a little disgusted with my brain. That was the first and last time I have taken melatonin.
@Mizuiro007 I had those dreams after giving birth too. I would often wake up from dreaming that we let the baby sleep in our bed (which we never actually did) and I would freak out because I couldn't find him. Also, a few weeks after he was born, I dreamed that my son had a twin that I'd forgotten to take care of the whole time!
@Rratledge Yes, yes, yes! I'd constantly think I had fallen asleep breastfeeding and wake up in a panic that I was smothering the baby, only to discover there was no baby, and a whole new level of panic would set in. If your husband is like mine, he never understood either.
Pregnancy dreams have woken me almost every night since 7 weeks. They are just odd. Post-partum dreams, for me, are worse. I felt so bad for DH, because I would dream that DS was in bed with us sleeping (he never, not once, slept in our bed) and that DH was about to roll over unto DS. I would wake up and find myself actively trying to push DH "off the baby" and I'd almost have him falling out of bed. DH has already mentioned that he doesn't look forward to those dreams. Sorry dear, hormones are a bitch!
Probably over sharing but I had one the other night where I was eating a tomato like it was an apple and the juices we going everywhere and DH was umm... Getting me pregnant again... So weird lol.
