New pain... awkward. Anyone else have this?

So today, 4 or 5 times I have felt a sharp stabbing feeling like a needle in one of my breasts. It happens for a sec then goes away for a few hours. I see my Dr. Tues and I don't think it's an emergency, but just seeing if anyone has felt similar cuz wow, it's a bizarre one for me!

Yes I have. I would describe it like when your milk drops and you need to release it. It is so annoying and I'm always feeling myself up.

I get it quite often and it HURTS. I feel you, my OBGYN wasn't worried about it at all though.

I agree with the PP that said it feel like a milk let down when you're nursing. I've felt it several times this pregnancy!

I get that once in awhile, it feels like someone is taking a razor blade to my nipple, but it does only last a second. By typing that out I just realized how much I hate the word nipple. lol

I have that too! I always thought it was my boobs growing lol, but I guess it's like a milk letdown thing?

It's normal. Like other have said your milk can feel that way at letdown. It's just everything preparing to feed the baby.

I was reading about breastfeeding this morning and I dropped my phone when it felt like I had a let down. I had very intense let downs when I nursed my daughter so I was not looking forward to it this time with my son... Certainly not while still pregnant!
