  I had the WORST heartburn with DS, I took Zantac almost everyday.  It's a wonder drug.  Of course, check with your doctor to confirm it is safe for you.

  Oh, I hear you! Nexium had been my miracle purple pill for about 4 years. I quit taking it as soon as I got my BFP, and I am really struggling now. Thank you for posting this thread!

  My doc told me no mylanta (since it has alcohol) and to take Zantac 150 twice a day.

  Called my doctor  and of course it's Saturday, so no response. I did go to the drug store, and although he would not tell me to officially take Zantac, he did say if a doctor called that is what he would recommend. Lwade22, I really feel your pain.  Frosted mini wheats sent me into a horrible state this morning. I got the Zantac, but I'm going to try and hold out until Monday when I can talk to the doctor (try is the word).

  There is an aloe Vera juice you can find at most whole foods/natural grocers. It's not the greatest tasting and I think it's works best if you take it daily but you may want to try it. I've also heard aloe Vera pills work well. I haven't talked to my OB about it yet but this is what I used before I was pregnant.
