Winter Care Tips for Newborn

hi there!

New mom here due in December. I live in Texas, so weather is a little crazy, going from 50 to 30 to 65F from one day to the next! Anyways, I'm wondering if you ladies could give me any tips for caring for a newborn in these weather conditions, diaper bag essentials, etc. anything will help :)

    I'm in MI so I have much different winters than you do! I would suggest having a number of long sleeved onesies & pants and sleepers. Nothing bulky or extra added in the car seat, but the covers that fit completely over it are okay "shower cap style".
