On the day I delivered my hospital informed me that any family member or friend that has not been vaccinated could be vaccinated at the hospital right in my room as I recovered from having baby! I am not sure if you are interested in having people that will visit/spend time with baby in the future be vaccinated, but if you are, you can inquire at your LD unit. It seems that most hospitals are offering it for free. Your guests will just have to bring a state issued ID with them and the process is fast and free!
Luckily, each and every person that came to visit my son was vaccinated in my room to help me keep my little guy safe from pertussis. Wishing all of you safe and fast deliveries and beautiful take home babies :x
