Snack ideas?

this is my second pregnancy. With my first, I would vomit as soon as I ate anything. With this one, I start dry heaving if my stomach is empty. What are some various snack ideas (because one day something sounds great and then I cannot stand it the next day)? I need something I can fit in my purse and keep at work...TIA!!

Re: Snack ideas?

  • I tend to have pistachios in my bag. I get a big bag of de-shelled ones from Costco. I never have issues stomaching those. I have also tried some of the Plum Organics Vida pouches. They are purees intended for adults and I can usually stomach those too, but they aren't cheap. If I have a lunch bag with an ice pack, I bring blueberries or carrots.

  • Anything with granola has been sounds great to me. I found these little cranberry granola bites that are the perfect mix of sweet and mild flavor. And they are so tiny that they don't feel me up too fast which makes me feel sick.

The Plum Organics purées have saved me several times now when I'm running around and need a quick, healthy snack. For something with the "good fat," try keeping a packet of Justin's almond butter with you, too. You can spread it on crackers or apple slices (and their cocoa and vanilla flavors really make you feel like you're having a treat).
