    Week: 4 weeks 2 days

What's new with baby (size, development): according the my ovia app the baby is beginning to develop its bodily systems, like the circulatory and digestive systems.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Just buying some maternity clothes. I have a feeling I will be needing them faster this time.  :) I actually bought some designer jeans off my local BS trade site a couple weeks ago because they were such a good deal. I wear jeans to work every day so I figured I would wear them no matter what time a year I got PG.

Rant/rave/symptoms:  Just feeling super bitchy the last few days. Thanks hormones!

Questions for the Group: None that I can think of.

GTKY: What kind of car do you drive? I drive a chevy tahoe. It's my second one and I will probably never get anything else. The gas mileage sucks but we have soo much room and I don't have to commute to work so it's not too bad.

  • Week: 7w5d What's new with baby (size, development): Blueberry, hopefully at next weeks ultrasound little pacman will have caught up a bit, he was measuring quite small last time. Like 2nd percentile small. What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Rant/rave/symptoms: Dealing with baby mama drama from DH's ex. She is blaming her daughter's piss poor behavior on the pregnancy. We had a "family" meeting 2 months before we even got pregnant about these issues. Pretty sure it has nothing to do with the baby, even SD13 has said it has nothing to do with baby and how she hopes it is a girl and jokes that even if it is a boy she is going to put dresses on him. We haven't seen her in a few days, so it's hard to know if this is coming from the ex or from SD. She has tried to ruin all of our happy times, including a new job for my husband, buying a house and moving, OUR WEDDING DAY!. She is a jealous and insecure woman who isn't happy unless there is drama. And this is the woman that kept driving us nuts trying to convince us to use her a surrogate! Questions for the Group: GTKY: What kind of car do you drive? Nissan Altima, but I'm taking DH's Jeep Cherokee Laredo after baby is born and he is getting a truck.

What's new with baby (size, development): Blueberry head

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Sleep sleep and more sleep

Rant/rave/symptoms: I don't want this to be a rant but it feels like my morning sickness is getting better???  Maybe the meds are finally kicking in???  I still have minor 24/7 nausea but I feel like I can function more.  Now the tiredness is another story.  Poor DH just wants a little lovin' but I'm so freakin' tired!!!

    Questions for the Group:

GTKY: What kind of car do you drive? Toyota Highlander.  I LOVE it!  I'm praying that we can get the whole 3 car seat thing working in it so I don't have to go to a minivan but my husband is not convinced.  Just have to get my oldest able to buckle his own car seat since he'd be in the way back.

What's new with baby (size, development): ya know, just growing mass brain cells.  NBD.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Looking up info on getting a breast pump through insurance.  I just submitted that Aeroflow form.  I know it's early, but I don't like to have things hanging over my head to do.

Rant/rave/symptoms: Woke up in the middle of the night with diahrrea and have had it every hour or so since then.  I'm annoyed.  I can barely eat anything to begin with, and now it's all exiting out.  I'd rather have it come out that end than the other, though!

What's new with baby (size, development): Our little embryo is forming what will be its spinal cord :-o

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: DH gets back from being out of town all week and we haven't had too much of a chance to talk about ANYTHING since I told him the day before he left lol so I imagine we'll be doing some chatting tonight.

Rant/rave/symptoms: As of now, I am feeling pretty good! Just exhausted by the end of the work day.

    Questions for the Group:

GTKY: What kind of car do you drive? I drive a Mitsubishi Outlander. I've had it for about a year and a half after crashing my old 2001 Izuzu Rodeo (which I loved and would have driven until it died a natural death. RIP Rodeo :( ). I don't love it and I'd really like the chance to by a car out of want instead of necessity! We've been looking at the GMC Acadia so I think that might be next after the Outlander is paid off next year.

Rant/rave/symptoms: still having the big D... Appetite changes daily- one day I'm ravenous, the next nothing sounds good

I had issues with Aeroflow last time and went with Byram.  The process was seamless (and I didn't have to pay any copays like I would have with Byram).

What's new with baby (size, development): blueberry

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: surviving :/

Rant/rave/symptoms: im bitchy as FUCK. It's defenatly pregnancy related. I can't stomach any thing so im hangry. I'm not sleeping so im tired. And I over all just feel like shit. Not to mention in scared for my first ultrasound. I'm worried they won't see baby or a heartbeat or something will just not be right. I've tried telling myself that because I actually have symptoms this time that everything is ok. But I know it's a lie, that symptoms don't necessarily mean one thing or the other.

    Questions for the Group: none.

GTKY: What kind of car do you drive? Bmw 328i or Nissan Pathfinder.

What's new with baby (size, development): poppyseed

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: kicked caffeine out of my diet on Tuesday so I'm suffering through headaches now, but oh well! We'll see how long this lasts.

Rant/rave/symptoms: still mild cramping here and there and some MAJOR dry mouth. Also, trying to not so patiently wait until 1pm (central time) to get my lab results back for my HCG. FX!!!

    Questions for the Group:

  • Week: 8.2

What's new with baby (size, development): wiggling fingers and toes

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: making a mental list of things we don't have from ds.

Rant/rave/symptoms: I was able to get a handle on the MS yesterday and felt somewhat normal. I ate more frequent meals that had some sort of protein in them. I also sucked on jolly ranchers and carried some ginger snaps for whenever I felt a little queasy. Today I made out ok, but then I waited a little too long for lunch and I am struggling nauseous again. Ugh! I also woke up a ton last night with a headache and I am exhausted today.

No questions but to answer pp, I will have s flu shot. I also teach in an elementary school and it is just not worth the risk.

GTKY: What kind of car do you drive?
We just got a new Honda CR-V. I love it! So much more space and not a crapbox like the old Camry I was driving (it had leaks and the door handles shattered off the car when it was 0 degrees so you had to get in through the back doors)
  • Week: after yesterday's ultrasound I'm back to 6w6d

What's new with baby (size, development): sweet pea? I forgot

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: starting to tell family this weekend

Rant/rave/symptoms: nauseous anytime my stomach gets slightly empty and exhausted to the point of not being able to function. So relieved to see a healthy 120 bpm yesterday!

What's new with baby (size, development): blueberry I think? Or is it still sweet pea? I don't pay much attention.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: trying to figure out how we will care for TWO babies. First ultrasound is showing twins. Too early to tell what type but definitely mono/di or mono/mono

Rant/rave/symptoms: all day light nausea. Tired. Two more night shifts to work before light duty starts next week. I never thought I'd be excited for light duty but I can't stand the weight and uncomfortable-ness of my uniform anymore.

Questions for the Group: nothing yet.
