Placenta previa

Anyone else have this or have experience with this? I just found out the middle of my placenta is over my cervix and I'll more than likely be having a c section. I've also already been put on restrictions. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated

Re: Placenta previa

  • I was told with that to be very careful not to lifting anything heavier than a gallon of milk, no exercising , or sex and to take it very easy and don't stress out !!! And make sure to monitor for bleeding !! Hoping everything will be okay for you ! I'm very sure you will be just fine !!

  • I've seen a few posts on here about this previously with some good info and general chat about concerns. If you use the search function you'll be able to find them.

    Good luck xx
  • I have complete previa and I"m definitely having a c-section. My doctor said pelvic rest, in his less than great bedside manner he said "do not put anything into your vagina". No lifting other than my 20 month old(b/c let's face it, not lifting her for 9 months is impossible for my schedule), I wasn't put on exercising restrictions, but I'm only doing light cardio. My doctor said anytime I bleed heavier than spotting, to call them immediately and period like bleeding is instant ER visit for me.

Also, there's a high risk board with lots of ladies with this. You might want to hit them up for advice,

  • Why are you so rude ????????????????????? @dmiller1213 I wasn't asking you and I did look for it. Wow? You don't seem like a very nice person at all.
  • The search function at the top or bottom of the web page will direct you to it.  If not, it is in groups.  It should not be difficult to find.
If there's something strange underneath the hood.  Who you gonna call?  Your Doctor.  If there's something weird and it don't look good.  Who you gonna call?  Your Doctor.  Immediately.  If it's new, painful, and possibly pregnancy related get your ass off the internet and call your doctor.  It's for your health and your child's.

  • @amandaejgreen I am actually a very nice person. However, I feel like we're all adults here, or at least need to act like it since we're having children, and should do things for ourselves. This app isn't your personal Google nor are the women who actively participate in discussions. When you are perfectly capable of finding the answer on your own, especially to your own question, I don't promote laziness.

Also, had you not acknowledged that you knew your question had been asked, you just wanted to start your own thread because you're too good to bring up an old one, you might have gotten better responses. JS.
