Progesterone...

I am 4w2d and yesterday I had bloodwork done. The nurse just called and said my HCG levels were good but my progesterone was a tad low... 9.1 when it needs to be a 10. She prescribed a progesterone pill and I am starting it immediately. I go back in on Monday to have my levels checked again.
Anyone go through anything similar?
I was also told that this is common especially considering I got pregnant so soon after my mirena removal.

    I am on the Progesterone pill as well, but because I had a MMC in April and the doctor told me you can't have too much, but you can definitely have too little.  My cousin was on it and she said it makes you really sleepy so take it before bed.

    I have to take it twice a day and it's actually a vaginal suppository.

    I take it twice a day, once when I go to bed and then I get up an hour before I actually get up in the morning and take it then. It's a suppository too. Til about 10-11 weeks believe. I had multiple miscarriages at 9 and 10 weeks, so last time I was put on this and had a beautiful lil girl. So hoping this helps this time!

    I'm on it as well. One pill vaginally before bed until 12w. Fx it helps with this pregnancy!

    I had the shots every weeks with my last. I will have them again this time starting at 16 weeks

    Oh I have an actual pill.  Good luck to everyone who is taking progesterone to keep our little ones safe.

    How quickly and substantially does it change your levels?

    @mlsuth my OB said it would become affective immediately but as far as changing the levels, I'm not really sure.
    I have to go back in on Monday to do another lab draw to recheck the levels.

    I'm on the shots as part of my meds protocol but I have been from before embryo transfer so I don't know much about levels.

    I'm on the same thing! I have PCOS so I don't produce enough progesterone. I've been on the vaginal suppository for a week, no symptoms just a little gross when it leaks out the next day. I am on it until 9 weeks.

    Same here, pcos and my levels at less than 4 weeks were hcg of 17 and progesterone at 14.8. They like to see 20. So I'm on 200mg prometrium twice a day. Makes me so sick. I'm 8 weeks 2 days and I have to take it til I'm 12 weeks. I was just told I can take it vaginally. Would have been nice to know 4 weeks ago lol.
