Constant BH

Im 36wks and this is my 3rd child. I'm constantly having painful BH contractions no matter what I do. They sometimes seem like preterm labor - happening every 5 to 10 min for an hour or two and then subside. I usually start vomiting when this happens (this happens at least once a day now). I'm well hydrated. Has anyone else experienced this? This is nothing like my first two pregnancies and it's just making me nervous. I have to make it until at least 37wks or I have to deliver in the hospital (not ideal for me for a number or reasons). My nurse-midwife is on vacation another week and her backup MW isn't very nice and doesn't listen or reassure me at all.

    Yes, I had BH like that all day at 37 weeks. Can you try to take a nap? Mine were worse walking around and slowly went away while lying down and sleeping.

    Yes. Mine are constant. When I get no break in between, I just guzzle water and lay on my side with legs elevated. There is really nothing else to do other then hydrate and change positions till it goes away. Feel better! It will be all over soon

    And if you are really worried, and the covering mw is a bitch, just go to the hospital. It's always better to be safe then sorry. At least it will give you a piece of mind
