Still bleeding?

It's been 19 days since my LO arrived and I'm still bleeding heavily. It seemed to slow down last week and I thought it was almost over, but then started up bright red and heavy again after visiting my midwife last Thursday. I haven't been doing much besides nursing and hanging out at home, mostly on the couch. Occasional grocery store trips but nothing strenuous. Curious how long others bled or if you're still bleeding too?

My bleeding slowed down and then picked back a couple of weeks after birth. Turned out I had an infection. Might be worth a trip to the doctor for an ultrasound? And I had no other symptoms like fever or anything, just a cramp here and there.

I'm 5 weeks PP and still bleeding. Some days it's heavier, some days it's almost nothing.

I started again around 2.5 weeks and it's petering out now at almost 4 weeks. It was red, but only enough to soak a panty liner every few hours.

Sounds totally normal. Same thing happened to me - I bled for about 3 weeks, stopped, then it came back. It has tapered off now that I'm almost 6 weeks.

I'm 4weeks and am still bleeding if I do any physical activity (leave the house or go for a walk, so most days unless I'm couch bound lol).

4 weeks and I go on and off. I did taper down to a really light flow for a while, then it was fairly heavy for a few days again, then back to being very light. I do notice that when I am doing a lot of stuff (shopping, housework, being more active) the flow is heavier, no matter what it was doing a day or so prior. I actually had like 2-3 days with nothing going on, then yesterday and today am spotting again. It seems like just as I think I'm done, I'm not done

Same here! 3.5 weeks and I vary day to day but it does seem to be heavier when I'm more active. I feel like even with pregnancy side effects not having to deal with a period for 9 months my body is now getting its revenge lol

I'm a little over 4 weeks pp via csection, I thought my bleeding was pretty much done, until today, I've been passing clots all day, idk why. Is this normal? From what I've read, that the bright red blood is supposed to change to pink, yellow, then clear. I've only had the bright red bleeding this whole time. & the doctors & nurses didn't tell me anything.

As far as I know this is normal--clots are usually from over doing things. I am 7 weeks and having light bleeding/clots. My OB said she wouldn't worry until 8 weeks.
