Thank Yous for Work Baby Shower

So I need some advice!  My coworkers hosted a small, impromptu baby shower today.  It was wonderful and I got a giftcard (not sure who contributed what).

Typically I'd want to buy bagels, and put a card out and do individual thank you's, but the people I work with are spread out all over the country (only work with maybe 5 in person), so I think email would be the best.  I guess how would I word something like that?  For weddings, people have sent group emails for thank yous, but I have no idea how to handle this for a baby shower.

If you know what you plan to spend the gift card on, you can always include that too - I was just giving you a generic example of what I would do.

    What about paperless post? You could make it "look" more like a formal note but still do it electronically

    I actually really like paperless post normally--but my work blocks stuff like that sadly.  (and really anything)  Heck, my work blocks the bump, and youtube, and anything that isn't work related ha ha ha.  :(
