Blender recommendation needed

Thinking ahead to when LO starts solids, we are planning on making his food ourselves. I currently have a standard (and old!) blender that I am looking to upgrade. I'm considering the NutriBullet, Ninja, and Vitamix. Anyone have any of these or know anything about them? Thanks :)

I'm in love with my Ninja. I have the most expensive one from Bed Bath and Beyond (sorry, can't remember model name). It has individual cups to blend smoothies and such, a big normal blender, and a food processor with different disks.

  • Haven't used it for baby food yet but I also have a ninja... I've read a bunch about it (in regards to baby food) and everyone seems to love it.
  • I LOVE my ninja
  • I hadn't heard of the ninja before - it's just gone onto my Amazon wish list!
  • I tried my moms ninja and it was awesome. I got the baby bullet. Haven't used it yet. Hope I don't regret my Choice.
  • I have the regular Ninja blender, but I am not sure if it's the same one you guys are talking about, or is there a special one for baby food? I love the one I have, it's so handy!

I have the Nutribullet and received the Baby Bullet as a gift. I haven't used either for baby food yet but I love the Nutribullet so hopefully the Baby Bullet is just as good. It had good reviews. I'm excited to use it once DD is old enough...I've already found tons of recipes on Pinterest.
  • I have a vitamix and I absolutely love it! That being said, my brother and his wife love their ninja and I'm pretty sure it's way cheaper that the $650 I paid for the top of the line vitamix pro model, and theirs has all the attachments so it replaces several appliances
  • I have the nutrabullet & love it. I plan on using it to make baby food. I've also read you can put breastmilk in baby food. Any other moms going to try that?
  • I have the nutribullet and love it!! However I hear the ninja is pretty amazing and ranks above the nutribullet. Just depends on your price range I suppose.

  • We made all of the food for DD1 with a food processor and we will do the same for DD2. We have the Cuisinart Mini Food Prep and it's great! I highly recommend it! I also recommend checking out the website www.wholesomebabyfood.com. It has great info including recipes and cooking/storing tips your homemade baby food.

  • I have a vitamix and it is amazing. I had the nutribullet but after almost a year it died and was not easy to clean. The vitamix was well worth the $500 price tag! It works fabulously. I would definitely recommend it. I went on YouTube and watched people demonstrate their blenders. That way you can see if they work the way you want them to!
  • I had a bullet and it didn't last that long. I also was looking at the vitamix and the ninja. I couldn't see paying so much more for the Vitamix but after some research, I understood why. This link helped tremendously Gotgreensrevolution.com/Vitamix-vs-Ninja-Review.html

I ended up with a reconditioned vitamix and could not be happier! Maybe the vitamix will work for you?
  • I was thinking of getting the Beaba.
