When was the earliest time that you find out the sex of your baby?

Re: Curious and excited.

  • My doctor couldn't find my baby's heartbeat with the Doppler at my appointment when I was 15 weeks 3 days, so she did an ultrasound. The tech was very confident that it's a boy and my husband and I could see the same thing before she even told us. :) my anatomy scan is in two weeks, so we will likely see if she was right then.

I found out at 15 weeks with an ultrasound
  • I have a friend who found out via blood test at 10 weeks. At 17 weeks our baby had her legs crossed. But we saw at 19.4 that it's definitely a girl :)
  • I found out at 18w2d through an elective scan. If they will tell you during your anatomy scan I would wait, they don't tell us here though !
  • I found out during my 16 week appointment - the OB couldn't find the heartbeat with Doppler so she requested a quick ultrasound. During the ultrasound I was told 95% sure and from the pics it does appear we're having a boy!
  • I don't know yet but i will hopefully find out on the 27th - i'll be 19 weeks at that time.
  • 41 weeks
  • Right around 20 weeks is the most accurate time to find out, not knocking on anyone who found out earlier.
  • 20 weeks with my first and 22 weeks with my second.
