Get the tdap vaccine (your Dr should give it to you shortly). It will let you pass antibodies to your baby to help protect them until they are old enough for theirs. It's a serious and sometimes deadly disease that is more common than it should be, you should have all your kid's caretakers vaccinated.
I got mine at 28 weeks, my husband and parents will get there's before I leave the hospital. Totally worth getting, anything to protect my little man!!
There's been a spike in whooping cough cases over the past year or two. The TDap shot protects your LO from it. Typically you only need to receive it every 10 years, but when you're pregnant they advise that you get it with each pregnancy to build up the baby's antibodies prior to birth.
Got mine a few weeks ago, and husband, grandma, and grandpa (who will be taking care of baby when I return to work) will also be getting it. Whooping cough can be very serious if your baby gets it so it's always best to protect your baby.
I am very pro-vaccine with the exception of the flu vaccine (just personal reasons). But everything else I have gotten and probably will vaccinate my child for. I got the TDAP at 28 weeks. And besides my arm being sore at the injection site I had no problems. Anything to protect my child! That's just my opinion.
I got it and I was told that CDC recommends getting it during pregnancy to give mom immunity and help protect baby as well. Also, anyone who comes in close contact with baby should get it if they aren't up-to-date. Obviously, it's a personal decision.
I must have the only doctor who is skeptical of needing it when pregnant. She isn't anti-vaccination in general, but she just doesn't think enough research has been done to justify the recommendation to get it during pregnancy.
I don't need it because I got it about a year ago, but I'm getting it for baby. Have everyone get it a few weeks before baby is due to make sure they have immunity. Doing it too late could leave them susceptible while baby is only a few days/weeks old

My midwife feels the same way, as does my mom (a nurse). And my friend's OB hasn't been pushing her to get it either. And all of them are otherwise pro-vaccination.
Not to be a lone dissenter, but I do not get vaccines while pregnant. I did get it after DD1 was born. I know it's probably a freak thing, but I had a friend who got a tdap while pregnant and had a bad reaction that put her into preterm labor and her DS had to be in NICU. I am also skeptical about the "get one every baby" thing, especially with mine being so close together in age. If I had one only a little more than a year ago, I just don't think I need another one now. I still have immunity. That immunity should still pass to baby.
Re: Tdap Vaccine
Your arm will be sore for a few days.
