With all of my pregnancies I've found I can smell myself. It'll go away when I shower and then it comes back not too long after. Anyone I ask tells me it's in my head and they don't smell anything
Same! I read somewhere else that pantiliners help so I tried that and I don't notice it as much. I think there must be some discharge that's light enough I don't notice it, or sweat, or both, that's just sticking to my skin and underwear.
As far as I know my region does not smell, I always ask DH as well. But I do sweat ALOT and I've always used panty liners bc if this even before expecting. It has just gotten way worse and now I itch all the time.. Ugh it's a never ending battle. Panty liners and A&D ointment are my best friends right now.
I haven't noticed a strong smell but some days I am just so damp & sweaty! If I'm wearing a skirt, it actually has caused a heat rash on my thighs. So absolutely agree with the above comment on A & D being her friend.... Same here!
Just got home from a baseball game.. We won \m/ Let's just say I'm ready for a shower .. I had my doctor give me another pap bec I couldn't believe all the access discharge she said its normal .. It's so annoying and yeah after being out in the heat with jeans On that will happen .. Sucks !
My husband has always said I have the nose of a Bassett hound, but there is definitely a change. I do remember right after I found out I was pregnant that I thought my urine smelled bad. That lasted for a couple weeks and then went away. I'm chalking my current eau de pregnancy to hormones and increased discharge.
Any time I have to make an outfit last any extended amount of time, I bring extra undies, and I also use my deodorant stick on my inner thighs and under my boobs. Because in South Florida in July, you can't play around with BO
Yep. I just try and brush it off. It happens daily so why fret too much. Sometimes I'll bring an extra pair of undies if it's extra hot out and I know I'll be bothered by it later.
Yeah, I think it's the sweat/slightly elevated discharge that comes with pregnancy. I've noticed it goes away if I bathe and/or change undies. And less breathable undies make it worse.
After reading this thread and the comments about DHs not noticing, I figured, "well, it must just be an overly sensitive pregnancy nose thing". Ummmm, until I walked in the door the other day and my 3 year old DD ran up to give me a big bear hug and said, "Eww, mommy, your bagina smells." Awesome. Going to get some panty liners today.

Lool! That last bit made me laugh! Kids are so funny!
This thread makes me laugh!!! I'm glad it's not just me! Panty liners, baby powder and frequent showers are what's getting me by! Luckily the hubs takes no notice!
Good god. I am not the only one. I change panties constantly. Use panty liners. Deodorant on my thighs. Strong smelling lotion. And I still pick it up. It's so gross and no one else seems to notice it, but it makes me so self conscious!
