Car seat Cover

Since I will have my daughter in the winter I am trying to prepare for the deep cold weather. Any suggestions on car seat covers that other moms have liked so I can make sure she is warm and safe?

    We never used one with DS, just a hat and a warm blanket.

    Edit... oh and someone posted a really cute one they make in the DIY nursery crafts thread, if you are crafty.

    We used this car seat cover and a blanket for the really frigid days.

    We never used one. I would just put a warm blanket over ds and use the car seat canopy.
    Ds always got really warm in his car seat in the car in the winter. I was more concerned about him being too hot in the car since we weren't outside for all that long on super cold days.

    :\"> they are really easy to make. They have patterns you can use to make them. Didn't take long only took me a few days because I have to sew during nap time only. I didn't use one with my first 2 but decided to try and make one. Mine is mainly for people's germs. Keeps them off them at random stores. Plus people don't try and touch when they are hidden. But as people had said a simple blanket will keep them warm.

    I also used this one and love it! Definitely go for one of the "shower cap" styles like this, anything that goes between the baby and the car seat is not recommended because it can affect how your car sear performs in case of a crash.

    We used something very similar (cozy cover) and loved it. It's helpful not only in keeping them warm but keeping rain/snow off too.

    Now when we say cold outside what are we really talking about? I live in Alberta where it'll be -40C in winter. Will a cover be enough?
