Hey ladies! I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow for all my blood tests and stuff and I'm very excited. I do have a question. Based on my LMP I should be at 6 weeks today but I had a very wonky cycle last month and since I was charting I know I ovulated on July 4th. This means I'm only 4 week and 3 days. Will my doctor go by the LMP or my ovulation? I'm concerned because I don't want the doctor to think I should be further along than I really am and get concerned. How have other women who were actively trying dealt with this situation? Do I just bring it up or will they still go by my LMP?
Any advice would be helpful. Thank you ladies!

This is one of my pet peeves. A lot of these OB's, my old one included, use this corny looking wheel chart and they go by the old "40 weeks since period". It's like they don't trust women to know their bodies.
I understand your concern. I mean if they're going by their date they could try to induce you before baby is ready. Hopefully, they'll do an ultrasound and see that your date is spot on.

@bheatz22 have you considered just giving them a different LMP date? 14 days before you ovulated if you know for sure when you did. It's not really "honest" but it eliminates confusion.
