Dilated 4cm, not ready for baby!

We have so much going on I'm afraid I'll work myself into labor! We're moving into our new home over the course of this week and the next and I'm scheduled to be induced on the 29th! I have to pack up and clean up my current home, clean and unpack at our new home. I'm taking it as easy as I can but things must get done. I'm just looking for support, advice, anything...I'm a STM but my body is progressing faster towards labor this time around. I'm nervous, anxious...

  • I'm in the process of moving this week as well. Are there any friends or family members you can ask to come and help you?

  • Do you have family to help? Is it in the budget to hire professionals to clean your old
    Place and new place?

  • We just moved too, and I'm due in a week. We have unpacked our basics and I've had to make peace with the fact that nothing else may get done until I'm not pregnant anymore. (STM here too, and also feel like I'm progressing much faster.) Cough up the money for a cleaning service, get out of the old house and cut yourself some slack about the new one till after baby is born. Good luck!
  • I'll pray you can make it through!
  • I've definitely been considering paying someone to come clean. I have family that could help but they make it seem like it's an inconvenience when I ask. My husband is helping so much but he works longs shifts days and nights. I know we'll make it through this no matter what I just hate not having my home together. Especially since the first time I stay there it will be after the baby is born. Prayers are always appreciated. Thanks so much for the support.
  • Just get done what you can. Don't push yourself too hard right now. If you have the money, I would definitely consider paying someone to clean (I thought about doing this, too). If not, no worries - the house will still be there. Hope your transition into your new home goes smoothly.
