  I've heard people say 18-22 weeks, I've heard people say that not until 30. I am doing mine at 21. I really don't want to do it at all, but MiL insists and is paying for it. So whatevs.

  I was totally about to post to ask this! I was planning mine around 25-26 weeks.... I heard 30 is better because they're way more chubby but I'm dying to see her features!

  Any thing before 24 weeks there still abit skinny and after 32 weeks the start getting squashed. Heres my sons at 27 weeks

  The 3D place in town suggest 26-30 weeks is the best time, anytime before then they still look alien like lol

  We had a "2D/3D Gender Check" today and the baby was so cute. I'm 17 weeks. My mom and MIL thought the baby looked weird lol. The boutique suggested to come back around 30 weeks to get a better look. Also, the placenta was in the front covering most of the baby so that might be something to think about!

  Here's mine at 18 weeks. We did a gender peek as a keepsake because my OB doesn't allow filming. I would say wait until 25 weeks or later if you're doing it for features.

  The place I had my ultrasound had a paper that said they would do it between 24-34 weeks but when she did my ultrasound at 17 weeks she showed us what it looked like in 3D and printed us a 3D picture. You can tell she's a human but I think I would wait a little while til your baby is a little more developed to get a better picture

  I am going in 3 days I'll be 18w1d.
  around here, you have to wait to find out the gender thru the hospital until your 20-24 weeks, whenever your first ultrasound is scheduled. I am to inpaitent and going sooner, I want to know the gender already. I plan on going again in November to see a clearer face.
