Any K Cup mommas? Currently I'm drinking 1 Starbucks K Cup a day and from what I've read that's about 150mg... but I wouldn't mind weaning off. What is everyone else doing?
I drink 1 cup of coffee a day. With my last pregnancy my OB was fine with 1-2 cups of any caffeinated drink per day. I had really bad migraines so I would sometimes drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning and a coke in the afternoon with Tylenol to help with the migraines.
I had been having zero caffeine. But a few days ago all I wanted was a cup of coffee, so I made one and it completely wiped out all my nausea for the day! So I started drinking 1 k cup a day again.
When I was pregnant with the twins, I didn't drink any at all during 1st tri. After that (once school started back up), I drank a cup each morning.
This time around, I've been drinking a cup every morning from the start. Not that 1 cup even really helps me stay awake, but it keeps my headaches at bay.
I've been doing a cup or two of decaf - I think it's all about the ritual for me. Although, I've been SO exhausted, I could probably use a bit of caffeine!
Unfortunately coffee was making me sick so I guess I'll be going caffinene free this time around. (Dr pepper tastes different it's just not as satisfying) I've got a bit of a headache but nothing too bad that Tylenol couldn't handle it. It's been over a week for me.
