I'm only 13+5 weeks. My A/S isn't for another 7 weeks or so! Feels like a lifetime! I have so many crochet/ sewing projects I want to start on but I can't until I know the gender. Boy or girl, I just want to know!

Mine is in 6 weeks. I thought it might be a bit sooner and my previous ob let me do it at 18 weeks, but this one wants me 20-22.

August 17th. Nervous to make sure everything looks okay! So far I have not had any testing to check for abnormalities, and I just recently tested positive for the MTHFR gene so now I'm more worried about defects. Can't come soon enough!

I have my next appt on August 12th and I'll be almost 18 weeks. My ultrasound will be scheduled after that appt.

August 14th @ 20 weeks.. Three weeks from today! No hopes/guesses on the gender for me. I want to be surprised and excited when I find the answer, whatever it might be (:

babybluu. I have MTHFR too. It doesn't typically cause birth defects, but if you don't have enough folate you're more likely to miscarry. Since you're this far along you should be in the clear. Neural tube defects are suuuuper rare cause they put folate in lots of stuff now. Your doctor will tell you this too, but just make sure to take natural folate and not folic acid now that you know you have it. Not 100% sure when mine will be. I had to switch providers (insurance stupidity) and I see the new one for the first time august 3rd. I'll be 18w2d then and they do all sonograms in office. I don't know if she's going to do it then or schedule it for sometime shortly thereafter.

20 weeks or later, but not earlier. Insurance won't pay if it's any earlier than 20 weeks, and I can only hope we can get an appt that week, but being that my weeks change on Wednesdays and my OB is open Thursday and 1/2 of Friday. I may not be able to schedule an appt until the next week sometime.... 20 weeks is around the 2nd week in September, seem so far away I'm not even dreaming of it yet!

Thanks so much! I feel a lot better! He's also testing me for a blood clotting disorder too, and if I don't have that I think I will be in the clear!

I'm not due until 1/29 (makes me 13.2 today), so I haven't even scheduled mine yet. I'm guessing it probably won't be until the middle of September though! Seems like forever away!!!

Mine is scheduled for the day after I see my doctor again, so August 18th. And I do the anatomy scan in the radiology department, my doctor isn't involved. It was that way for my NT scan as well.

Mine is this coming weekend. I could've done it this weekend, but I wanted to wait until after my OB appointment. We're doing an elective one specifically to find out the sex because I'm super impatient and MUST KNOW NOW! I know I'm ridiculous.

My OB said they want to wait until 18 weeks. So that would put me to the week of August 31. I have an appointment next Monday for blood and regular visit. I'm going to ask if I can do it the week before, because I go back to school for Prof. Development and then school starts on the 8th. I really don't want to have to take any time off, first thing in the school year. I need to save as many days as I can, for when I go out on leave.

@mrsgetz4000 same here! It'll likely be scheduled at the end of August though.

I was going to have a friend who is an ultrasound tech sneak peak, but she could only do it a few weeks before my actual scheduled scan, and I'm anxious and would rather have the scan done in my doctors office because I also haven't had any tests done, and you just never know. We haven't had a scan since 8 weeks.

I'm anxious to see my healthy baby & to find out the sex so I can shop

it's our 1st, I don't care which one, I just want to KNOW. So we can pick a name, plan the nursery, etc.

My OB wanted me as close to 20 weeks as possible, so I'm going on August 20th when I'm 19w6d. I'm so anxious to know that everything is okay and excited to find out if it's a little miss or mister in there. (If baby cooperates!)
