Cholestasis.

Soooo. I'm just looking for opinions or maybe advice. I have had immensely itchy feet & recently hands lately & it's actually starting to concern me a little.

At first I thought it was just dry skin because it's been so hot in LA & & I usually wear sandals because my feet have gotten so swollen but my hands have gotten itchy lately & my feet itchiness has intensified.

So naturally I googled it. & it came up as Cholestasis being the main thing that It COULD be. Of course, I have no way of knowing until I see my doctor - which im scheduled to see next Wednesday. I've never heard of it before but maybe someone else has some experience with it.

These past 3 days, I've been itchy - everywhere. Not just hands or feet - mainly toes & fingers. I've had darkened pee even if I drink the same amount of fluids. I have absolutely no appetite but I still feel hungry. & Sometimes when I feel like I'm craving something I'll be good to eat it until half way through & I get super nauseous & light headed.

I don't expect any doctor expert advice, I would just like to know if anyone else has gone through this or if you think I should go see my doctor tomorrow. If not, please just move on. Thank you.

    I'd recommend you call your doctor and see if they want to see you sooner.

    I would call
    And get tested sooner. I too had itchy hands and feet weeks ago. My tests were negative. Now I itch all over my body but not hands and feet. Guess it's just dry skin. If it were my hands and feet is asked to be tested again.

    I have an appointment for Thursday and have the itching all over my hands and feet. I emailed my doctor about it and they wanted to see me that day even though I have another appointment scheduled in 2 days. Let your dr make the call!

    There are a few posts on the in the last few days.. Definitely get the blood work done to see if you have it because it can be a serious problem if left untreated. I thought I had it too after reading about it but got the blood work done and turns out I do not have it. Good luck!

    If you research it, it is not bad for the mom but can cause still born. Definitely worth getting in now to rule out! No sense in waiting, we have worked sooooo hard to keep our babies healthy this far!!! Good luck and I hope they figure out what it is!!!

    Thank you all for your advice. I saw there were other posts but I had some additional symptoms that I thought I should put out there. I'm on my way to see my doctor now!
