Overseas Mamas check in

It has been a while since we had an overseas thread going so I just thought I would check in and see how you are doing. How has the prenatal care been so far? Is there anything you love about being pregnant overseas? Any food cravings for things you can't get?

    I feel like the prenatal care in the Netherlands has been good, I'm using a midwife practice but have decided to give birth at a birthing centre attached to the main hospital in town. One thing I love about the Dutch system is that after birth there is a maternity care service that comes to help out for the first ten days after child birth, so life won't be as overwhelming for us as new parents far away from family. Our parents are coming out to visit a few weeks after the baby is born too so we will have some help from them as well. Lately I've been craving Jalepeno poppers but have come to the realization that they haven't been discovered here yet so I will need to make my own version. I finally have the ingredients (getting bacon takes some serious effort) so will be making some soon.
