  Desperate times call for desperate measures. My 3-year-old has been coming in but not every night. He shares a room with his 2-yr-old brother, wakes him early almost everyday, so sometimes I let him snuggle with me just so I can snooze. But he wiggles and kicks ugh. Queen size bed is NOT big enough!

  @WDDCH - we upgraded to a king for the sole purpose of having more space with cuddly/snuggly/bed hoggy children. They don't come in often...but when they do, I frequently leave because they leave no room!

  I don't know how some parents handle sleeping with kids in the bed. I guess that's just my one pet peeve. When I visit my mom I don't even sleep with my daughter. I let her sleep in the extra room and I sleep on the couch.

  I actually wouldn't mind sleeping with my 2yo but she hates it! We had a rough few weeks a couple of months ago before she switched to the big bed and she wouldn't sleep in our bed instead. Those were extremely sleepless nights. Maybe I'll see if DH will buy me a donut if I sleep through the night (although I might not get that donut since I rarely do sleep through the night!! )

  The miracle happened last night that my 2 year old stayed in his bed all night. I didn't know how to sleep by myself all night haha my husband goes he's kicking you in your head how do you even sleep through that? I'm like if I didn't then I would never sleep between him kicking me and his little brother kicking me every where on the inside. So glad I'm not alone haha

  So glad my 4 yo has never come to our bed in the middle of the night! If she has a nightmare she calls for daddy (I trained her well) and a few times he has brought her to our bed to snuggle, but that's really it. She does usually come get in our bed when we stay at a hotel because she gets disorientated when she wakes in a strange place, and at my mom's, my mom and I sleep in the big king size bed with her so we can use a flashlight to do shadow puppets and tell ghost stories ("sleepover" fun), but I think that's helped her realize that sleeping with mommy or daddy is something special.
  
  But, FWIW, I would totally bribe her with donuts for just about anything, because then I get one, too. We live half a block from a donut shop!

  Just wanted to add...she even stayed in her bed until I went and got her! She definitely got donuts today!! eek and both kids slept 12 hours!
