Why does all this pregnancy stuff take so long! I just set up the appointment for the 20 week scan, in three weeks. Why can't 20 weeks be tomorrow? WHINE!!
It's probably because it's summer and I'm also off work and therefore don't have too much occupying my days, but time is going by sooooooo slowly during this pregnancy! I'm hoping it speeds up in the fall once I'm back to my crazy schedule...but for now the fact that my last appointment was at 11 weeks (almost 2 weeks ago) and my next isn't until 16 weeks (in almost 3 weeks, 5 weeks from my last) is driving me nuts! At least I just got back my good bloodwork to act as reassurance in between.
You must be a FTM. Lol I'm like, how do we only have 6 months to go???
I can't believe I'm into second tri. I'm trying to get my daughter as independent as possible and she's basically laughing at my efforts.
I feel the same way. I'm pulling out DS's potty to see if I can ease him into it. He's only 15 months though. I'm not holding my breath but it would be nice!
@ChipMonster DD started using her training toilet at around 9 mos. She's fully into underpants now, has been since about 22 mos. It is totally possible!

Oh my god!! Thank you for giving me hope!!!! DS will be 21 months when LO is born.
I felt like up until 12w took ages, but now it is flying. I am about to head back to work and the first half of the school year goes by quickly with all the breaks/holidays. We will be posting announcements before you know it.
I have a countdown of days on my phone til my due date. I suggest it if you feel it is going slowly @ariasbabyblog. I feel like yesterday it was on 190 days... now it says 173!
Our kiddos will be about the same ages apart. DD will be 20 months when baby is born. I thought about trying to potty train early but thought maybe I was crazy.
@apinkpelican definitely not crazy. Now is probably a great time to start if you have the time & inclination.
I couldn't imagine an infant in diapers and trying to transition a toddler out at the same time. Not saying DD won't have some regression, because she might and like all things they learn it is definitely a forward-reverse-forward again process but so wonderful to have her out of the diapers already.

I'm in shock!!! How? Please share your secrets!!!!
@StephPegasus what method did you use? We thought we had DD potty trained and within the last 2 weeks, she regressed. We're going to try the 3-day method in a couple of weeks. She's 26 months and I was hoping to haver her PT by 2
@StephPegasus I'd love to read the article you are basing your potty training on if you don't mind sending it to me also. My son is 17 months and I think he might catch on quickly if I really stick with it. I have a good deal of experience potty training kids with ASD at my previous job but this is a little different. Thanks!
I found that the first trimester crept along with all its uncertainty but I would be very happy if the second trimester lasted forever and then a stork delivered the baby rather than him/her coming out through a very small door. FTM.
