I am not afraid I have not been back and someone just brought it up to me and it something on my mind! I will ask when I go back! But thanks for that kind comment!

You have a lot of patience! I would have called the doctor and asked if they've had a chance to view the U/S because you have questions. I say don't be afraid to ask questions because doctors can be very abrupt and make it difficult to ask questions.
You should definitely call your doctor and bring this up. I don't really know how to interpret U/S re: looking for multiples, but you should call them today and see if you can talk to someone. The imagining center may have also sent a report, so maybe if that is in your chart, your nurse might be able to answer your question too. Congrats!
Also, I would crop that picture. It has your full name on it.
Definitely just one baby. The "thing" that looks like it's separating "two sacs" is your baby. One plus sign at the head, one plus sign at the butt.
What she said. I'm not an US tech but between the yellow "plus signs" is what they're measuring- the baby (or "fetal pole" as they have it labeled on the US).
I just dont understand how you can have an ultrasounds and leave not knowing if its a single baby or twin... and I dont mean that in a condescending way. So did your OB order this u/s at another facility and then you will go in to discuss with him/her?

After my US at the doctor's office, the doctor talked to me but she just told me that they didn't find anything on the US. I went back the next week and I didn't see the doctor and the US tech couldn't tell me anything. It was the next day before a nurse called.

That just seems odd to me. I understand if the tech cant tell you anything but just seems odd to leave a person hanging like that. Maybe thats the norm at some office, thank god not at mine. The first words I heard were "Well, its only one baby" To the OP Good luck on finding out if its twins or not.
That happened to me when I had my cysts checked many times... They sent me to the hospital for a U/s but they couldn't tell me anything since my ob was offsite at her own place.
It would drive me crazy waiting for them to call me to tell me how my cysts were and how the baby was!!
That being said I would be calling them if you haven't heard I usually heard within 20-30 minutes

I still don't understand why you're asking us instead of calling your doctor. I get that the u/s tech can't tell you things sometimes, but why can't you call your doc?
Looks like just one to me.. the way the baby is positioned is making it look like two separate sacs. If I'm looking at it correctly the yellow is measuring baby's length from one end to the other. But I would for sure call if you are guessing it. I think they would have passed along the twins info.. That would be crazy if they didn't mention it.
Baby #3 due February. Dx with Spina Bifida Myelo "good things are coming down the road, just don't stop walking"
I will say for my first ultrasound, there were two solidly defined sacs, also, I was 7w4d and they were able to find both heartbeats. Like PP said, it looks like one to me! Best of luck!
Hahahaha, you're hilarious!!! What's the baby dividing into?? She's 8 weeks pregnant. Not 8 days pregnant! )
Huh? What is this response all about? Baby is dividing the picture (by being in the middle of it) so it makes it look like two sacs to the OP. just like a bunch of other people said. I don't understand your reply.

She said "baby is dividing IT". "It" being the sac. Not the actual baby dividing. Maybe someone should read a little more carefully before trying to be funny with the snark.
When I had my ultrasound the tech talked me through the ultrasound. What she was measuring, what she was looking at, and that there was only one baby. I'm sorry you didn't find out anything! Looks like one baby to me, but I'm not an ultrasound tech.
Yup definitely 1 baby. I attached my U/S from my twins for reference and you can clearly see 2 sacs & 2 babies. I was 6weeks + 4 days when this u/s was done.
