Problem child...

:P So any time I try to get my SO or friends to feel the baby moving (which is completely possible, as I can feel it moving when I put my hand on my belly), it completely stops moving. EVERY TIME. Does any one else have this problem and know why it happens? Is it scared of their voices? What...My SO has felt it move once because we were watching a movie and I just had him keep his hand on my tummy the whole time. But other times it'll be super active and as soon as I have them put their hands on my belly...nothing. Little turd.

    Mine stops the moment I put MY hand there to see if I can feel it yet! Nevermind the husband, haha. Cooperate, kiddo!
    Is heartily apologizing to her child in advance for genes that predispose them to shitty vision and being Too Damn Tall.

    Yes every time!! My LO will be rolling and kicking and when SO feels it he just stops!! I think they do it deliberately because they know we want them to move :P

    Yes! Only my SO gets to feel her kick... Every time I attempt to have someone else feel her she stops.... She's very stubborn but at least she lets daddy feel her :)

    Same thing happened with my first child. I would feel her kicking really hard and then as soon as DH went to feel, nothing. It seems like some kind of game haha

    My DH used to put a cold drink or wash his hands so they were cold and then try to feel kicks. Worked everytime!

    I think the pressure of our hands makes it stop to investigate?

    I'm not sure if i've felt my little yet or not. I'm 18 weeks along now so i'm in that window where i *might* feel *something*. But this has been my experience too.
