The fuss over the shark attack that did not kill the surfer and his "hero" status is annoying on the heels of the shooting of 4 marines on our soil. As well as the comments that sharks and surfers have a sordid relationship (an announcers words, not mine). It's not a sordid relationship, it's statistical odds. Surfers are typically in the water more than other people. Sharks get hungry.

I only saw one report on the shark attack, I thought it was crazy that it happened and he got away pretty much unharmed! But yes, he's not a hero!

Every pregnant (and non pregnant) woman needs to hear this today!

Based on my cravings I'm going with this is a girl. With my boys, I had cravings for hamburgers and chocolate peanut butter ice cream the entire time. This go around the only thing that remotely sounds good is hot wings and "sweet" stuff really sounds pretty awful (and the aftertaste makes me want to puke). But, you know, that's a long time away from actually knowing for sure

@skruhmin - I am right there with you on the hot wings. I don't know why, but it's bordering on obsessive. However, with DD it was green olives. Jars of green olives.

My house is much dirtier than I normally like but I'm trying not to beat myself up about it. Everyone tells me it's fine but it still bugs me. DH did clean some carpets for me this weekend so I'm happy about that!

@skruhmin -I'm pretty much just craving salty things right now because they help my nausea. Hot wings sound good right now!

ETA- oh and my vacuum cleaner isn't working properly

. We're gonna take it to a Dyson store tomorrow so hopefully they can find the problem!

@yodapup - my house looks like I'm losing a game of jumanji.

I have wanted hot wings sauce so much I baked chicken and will eat it with wing sauce in the attempt to make it more healthy.

This might come across as harsh but I pretty much want to punch anyone in the face who says they don't have symptoms. And that they're trying to eat healthy during first trimester. For me it's survival mode.

On a different note, we just finished our latest binge show Raising Hope. I need a new one. We've binged Prison Break, New Girl, we love goofy shows and crime shows (so Criminal Minds is awesome).

@skruhmin I just watched the first two seasons of Young & Hungry. That was cute! I also like Hart of Dixie.

My LO had to start a new daycare last week. She was at her former daycare since she was 4 months old and they decided to close the business. LO is now 19 months old. My In-Laws watched her in our home for the two week transition period and now she is at this new place FT. It has been a tough transition. My extremely happy child has been very moody and crying at the littlest things. They've also only changed her diapers 3X a day, when every 2 hours is the state mandate, so she should have 4 changes. I've addressed it and hopefully this week will be better. She also got a terrible fever, so I don't know what to think. I don't adjust well to change, so this is going to take some time to get used to.

Not that I want to rush this - but I just cannot wait to tell everyone my happy news!
