29 weeks, feet get red and hot occasionally

I am a type 1 diabetic which could play a role, but does anyone else experience this from time to time? I should mention there is no swelling or pain. I do not have cankles yet....blood pressure is normal, blood sugar is normal. Just par for the course? After icing them and propping them up for a bit it subsides.
