Slow rising hcg

I went for day 31 ultrasound on Thursday last week and although they could see yolk sac and fetal pole there was no heartbeat. I was told to spect my hcg to be around 20000 but it was only 7500. Was told to return today but it was most likely no longer a viable pregnancy. I returned today to have another ultrasound and we have a heartbeat. I was told they could see the heart flickering but could not count the heartbeat yet. My hcg went up to 12500. My Dr. says we are still in the game but the odds area still against me. I should also mention that the embryo implanted very high on the left and was initially feared to be a corneul ectopic pregnancy but the sac continues to expand into the uterine cavity which is a good sign. Does anyone else have experience with anything like this? My husband and I have been TTC for years and I am very anxious right now. I see the Dr again on Thursday.

I would still be optimistic since you now know there's a heartbeat. You are probably just a little earlier than you had thought. I googled HCG charts, from what I have found you are so far, so good. It won't let me attach the darn chart. But Google it, I think it will make you feel better.

I don't have any experience with this, but I do know what it's like to struggle with trying to conceive, and can imagine how worried you must be. Sending you lots of positive thoughts- please keep us posted!
