So sad to say goodbye January 2016

I'm so sad that I'm no longer a part of this group. I haven't been able to come back here and post until now.

I went to the dr for my 14 week appt last monday expecting it to be a quick one just to check baby's heartbeat. It was just my 18 month old with me and the PA couldn't find the HB on the doppler. They'd found it at 10w 2d so I was a little nervous, but still sure everything was completely fine. I'd also bought a home doppler and just heard little one's hb on saturday night. They took me right back for an ultrasound and I was even a little excited to see my baby again, still sure everything was fine. The tech immediately found my sweet baby. I held my breath waiting to see the flicker of the heart, but there was none. The tech said she was sorry but that there was no cardiac activity. I'll never forget that moment. I was pretty hysterical so they got my dr in to calm me. I didn't see this coming at all, a complete, devastating shock.

I had my d&c last wednesday and that's been the easiest part of all this, though the emptiness I felt afterwards was/is awful. Since I've now had 3 mc's the dr sent little baby off for testing, which I'll hear back on in another 3 weeks or so. She's also going to do a full workup on me and make sure it's not me. I really hope to be back soon with a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby, but with my history I'm so scared.

This is devasting to read after I posted on a discussion about someone not wanting a girl after their FOURTH child ... I can't imagine losing a baby after 10 weeks. And you probably didn't know the sex.... None of that matters when you lose your child. I hope women with gender blues seriously get over their emotions.

So sorry for your loss. Really hope that doctor can figure out what's going on.
