Stomach scratches!!!

I looked everywhere for a thread on this but couldn't find one so if it's a repeat I'm sorry.
I woke up this morning finding what I thought was stretch marks on my stomach (right side only) but when I showed them to my work mate she said they weren't as that they were scratches. I do t know how I got them, they look like cat scratches. My stomach has not been itchy (yet) so I haven't scratches myself. It's very weird and just wondering if scratches just appear in pregnant women?

You probably just scratched yourself while you were sleeping and don't remember. I've never heard of "appearance of random scratches on belly" as a pregnancy symptom. They definitely came from somewhere.

Also they may be stretch marks as you originally thought. If you're really worried call your doctor.

Aww I thought this was a thread on scratch addictions. I make my poor husband scratch down my back just about every night.

I definitely catch myself scratching in the middle of the night. Might wanna cut your nails and start applying some oil or lotion to help ease the itch!

I'm sure they're the beginnings of stretch marks as they look like red scratch marks at the beginning.

J/K, I scratch myself all the time when I'm sleeping. It's not as bad since my rings don't fit anymore, but it still happens.

Reading this has made me itchy now.... Man! But, as everyone else has said its likely something you did in your sleep. I discover mysterious bumps, bruises and scratches on myself all of the time.
