  Congrats! I also conceived my first cycle after getting my Mirena removed. Didn't think it would happen so fast! I actually learned a ton from my previous bmb (Feb14) and from the bump its self.   Thanks Yodapup   Question if you don't mind....  I wasn't always regular on the Mirena, most months I wouldn't have a period or just spot a tad.  I was actually bleeding when the removed my Mirena, so they are dating me with by my LMP, but I got a BFP 4 days before I was supposed to start my next cycle. Were they able to calculate your due date in the ballpark before doing an ultrasound?

  I haven't had my appointment yet but I was temping so I know exactly when I ovulated (CD 19). I also bled a good amount the day after it was removed for about 4-5 days so I counted that as my period. It's possible to get a BFP "4 days before your period" but that's just guess work since you don't know exactly when you ovulated.   I got my mirena removed on June 24th, my period started on the 26th and I ovulated on July 7th. I just got my BFP on July 19th.
  I also didn't think it would happen so fast!!!

  ust curious...have you heard/read anything about the increased chance of twins getting pregnant so quickly after Mirena?  I was researching pregnancy after having Mirena removed, when honey and I were talking about me getting it removed and was happy to read so many quick success stories, but intrigued about the number of people who had twins!

  I refuse to google "pregnant after mirena" so I haven't read up on much but... oh my!! I hope that's not that case, but of course we would be happy with the double blessing!! Seeing as we only waned one more, I think my husband would fall over. Haha

  Lol...mine thinks twins sound like a great idea, we want two more so he says woohoo all in one shot.  I say healthy baby(ies) is all I ask but wow twins!

  
  

  BTW...they scheduled our dating u/s for 8/20 I will be 9 wk 5 days.  It's the day before my DS bday!

  I had my Mirena removed 6/16 after 5.5 years, started my cycle 6/17 (my 37th bday!), and got a BFP 7/12! By LMP I am 5wks exactly today - due 3/23/16. My first OB appt is 8/4. I have also heard many reports of twins after IUD removal. That would be crazy!!!

  I started my cycle on 6/11, got my mirena removed on 6/12, and tested positive on 7/12! I actually tested negative a few times in early July, including as late as 7/9, so I'm not exactly sure when my due date will be. I must have ovulated later than I expected.
  
  I read about the possibility of twins after mirena removal, too. This is my last pregnancy, so part of me is actually hoping for twins. First ultrasound is 8/20, so I guess we'll see!
