Or first pregnancy, I found out on Father's Day, so when I handed him his cup of coffee that morning I said, "Good morning Daddy and Happy Father's Day!"
2nd time I gave him a gift bag decorated with blue and orange ribbon with a Bronco's onesy inside.
This time I told him I cancelled a job interview for my dream job (unfortunately less money and no benefits) because I really needed to keep my current job for at least the next 9 months.

We were supposed to head out of state to see his family and for him to go fishing with his brother. I was sitting at the table when he came in and said in a very serious voice, "I don't think we can go." He started to get mad (he really wanted to go) and asked me why and as I pulled out two tests, I told him because we had a lot of shopping to do and that he was going to be a daddy.
This is our first and it wasn't the cutest way to tell him, but I still got the tears I was hoping for
I just told hi, after the positive test both times...boring! Hahaha. I don't want to do anything special to tell people. Last time we waited until after our NT scan but this time I just want to tell close family after the viability scan. I'll see my sisters the morning after, so I will show them the ultrasound pic and call my Dad. I'll let DH decide how he wants to tell his family.
For my first, there was a faint line on the test, so I brought it out to him to confirm I wasn't hallucinating. He asked if that meant I was "a little pregnant."
This time I texted him that we had to change our weekends plans to include something with less alcohol.
at 10 & 11 DPO I tested negative and had a bit of a pity party and I had some cramping and very light spotting so I though AF was coming. Me and DH went out to dinner and I decided to test afterwards and I saw a super faint line on my internet cheapie tests and told him right away! We still didn't feel positive so first thing in the morning we went on got some first response tests and sure enough we got a positive!
So I actually had planned to tell DH with a R2D2 onsie and a book "good night darth vadar" which I had already bought but it was so hard to believe and we don't want to get our hopes up so i still haven't given it to him :-(

Baby #1 DD Born 8/25/2016 BFP: 8/11/18 Due: 4/26/18
This time I had DS wearing a big brother shirt when DH got home from work and had two mugs on the kitchen table that said new mommy and new daddy. With DS I was so shocked that all I could do was walk out of the bathroom and hand DH the pee stick. We have already told our parents and did so with DS wearing his shirt but when we go to tell everyone else I have a cute video of me asking DS (19 months) what mommy is having and him saying baby
The first was a surprise and a shock so it wasn't a magical moment. But this time I was about to start another round of clomid and I had input the "take pregnancy test" date wrong in my calendar so I decided to take the hint and poas. We had been trying for well over a year with no success. I was so shocked when I got a positive (I ovulated in between clomid cycles) that I just walked into the living room like a crying zombie and he put it all together . He gave me a big hug and was so excited !
September Siggy Challenge : Favorite Childhood Movies ( Sorry I have two)
The first time (mc), I took a picture of the test and when we came home from work, I said look at this cute thing that Zoey (our dog) did earlier. He looked at it was said, what, is your sister pregnant again? We had been trying for 2.5 years and 2 of my sisters had 3 babies in that time. I said no, you idiot, I am! He was happy after that.
The second time (DD), I stupidly tested right after he left for a 14 hour shift where he wasn't allowed access to his phone. So when he got home at 6am, I said, you're so lucky to have a wife that loves you enough to go 14 hours without telling anyone she's pregnant. He was a little in disbelief and scared because of our mc 2 months prior, but was soon excited again.
This time, we were ntnp, but not expecting to get pregnant because I still hadn't had a period after DD and our history. So when I tested, I was just like, can you come here? I need your expert opinion on something. Then I showed him the faint like and was like, you see that, right??? At first he thought it was an opk, but then got it. That was 3 weeks ago and he still can't believe we got pregnant without trying!

I know the unsure feeling. I'm sorry you feel that way too.
My husband proposed by taking me up to the top of a nearby mountain that overlooked the place we were currently living on one side, and the new home we were moving to on the other side. I decided to keep that tradition going. I asked to go for a walk after dinner the day I found out, so I took him on a hike up to a lookout. I live at Lake Tahoe, so we had a beautiful view at sunset. I told him that when he proposed, he showed me our new home. This time I was showing him the home of our new baby. He was stunned as it slowly sunk in!
I can't remember how I did it on my miscarriage one. My second BFP after 13 months of trying, I took a pee test at 3:30am (because it has to be FMU right??) and I woke him up to tell him - so excited. My third BFP after 12 months of trying, I woke him up at 5:30am to tell him - again so excited. This one was majorly unplanned and because I ovulated 5 days early I tested the morning of when I was supposed to start - an hour after getting to work in the Walmart bathroom - I work on the same campus as him and I asked him to meet me in the courtyard during his morning break. He thought I was bringing him a breakfast burrito. I brought him news of unexpected pregnancy and I was definitely crying scared tears (we were planning on just two kids and are building a 3 bedroom house and it took us 25 months total to conceive the other two so this is very unexpected). We are still very shocked but excited.

It was a Sunday morning and my husband was getting ready to leave for the day. I took the HPT because I felt a little off and hadn't had my period in over 70 days, which even for me having PCOS was quite a long time. I kind of knew it would be positive but I was still shocked to actually see the lines. I stood there in the bathroom for a few minutes trying to decide how to tell him, because he wasn't going to be home again until 8 PM or later. I decided not to do anything cutesy and just tell. If the shoe was on the other foot and men carried babies, I'd appreciate knowing right away. Me: So I just took a pregnancy test. It's positive. Him: Are you serious?
We're going to tell my parents by showing them around our new house and presenting the spare room as the nursery come March 2016. I'll be 13w by then. We'll have to get creative with his parents because they're out of town and my H wants to do more than a phone call. We'll probably send a gift and sonogram and have them FaceTime us when they open it.

I'm so boring compared to you guys! The first time--and this time as well, actually--I ran out of the bathroom towards DH with a positive pregnancy test in my hand.
The first time with DD we got our parents together for a BBQ and at the end we brought out a chocolate cake for dessert that had "April 2015" written on it. It took them a minute but they got it--that was fun!
Hi, I'm Jessica. I still have a few days to see if I am going to be a part of this community but I have been lurking and thought I might be able to share mine and perhaps help someone or you could piggy back off of it.
It's pretty simple. I am going to wait until my husband gets in to the shower and empty out his underwear drawer and fill it with diapers and a sign on top that says SURPRISE!!!
I always imagined cutesy ways to share the news...the 1st one I bought a test, took it in the bathroom of the grocery store,, positive, had to pick hubby up from work so I waited till we got home and took another one then just showed him. That ended in a m/c. 3 weeks later I felt off so I took another one-positive:-i just told him, his response "are you sure it's not left over?" the 3rd time I texted him at works to bring some milk home and if he felt like it maybe a pregnancy test...he brought a double pack.it was positive, then the next morning he said "are you sure it's not supposed to be 1st morning pee?!" So I took the second one. This time I had a test in the bathroom, been waking up starving and nauseous for days do I took one last week...walked out of the bathroom and said "so this just happened" ...
Straightforward or creative, I love reading all of these!
I have only told my DH. I do homemade cards. DH had a really rough two days at work and came home exhausted. He crashed on the bed. I told him I had something for him for working so hard the recently and handed him the card. On the front it said "You and Me" and on the inside it said "And baby makes 3! You're going to be a DAD!" He was definitely surprised. It was sweet because he was definitely not in the greatest of moods (I wouldn't have been either if I had working 28 of the previous 36 hours), but once he found out he perked up and was all smiles.
@kosmo86 - I'm in a similar boat. I had actually bought a cake topper (the one pictured below) and was going to make him a cake, but I'm so scared of MC/CP. I don't plan on telling family until we hear/see a heartbeat. Once we do, I plan on celebrating! I figure I'll use the cake topper to tell my in-law's.
For my parents, I'm going to make countdown blocks that look something like this, but smaller base blocks.
I make cards for each of my nieces and nephews for each holiday or season. I'll address the envelope to them and their parents. On the outside it will say "Dreams do come true." On the inside, it will say "Our adventure starting in March 2016" and have paper doll versions of DH and me wearing Mickey Mouse ears and holding a tiny ears hat in between us. I made these before I even got pregnant.
I found out the day before were were going to a Foo Fighters Concert, so I ordered him the Foo Fighters Rock-a-buy-baby CD and gave it to him before the concert.

@spacemountianeer I love the paper doll with mickey ears idea! DH and I are huge Disney World fans and go a few times a year. I have a trip planned in september and I want to take a sonogram with me for a picture in front of the castle!

@kosmo86- I LOVE that idea! I would prefer to do it your way over mine any day. Did you know you got your BFP on Disneyland's 60th anniversary? I love looking at all the Disneyland/ Disney World pregnancy announcements on pinterest.
I'm on the boring side. DH knew I was late, but I was having cramping and back pain, so was sure the test would be negative. DH was cleaning up from dinner and I yelled for him to come look at the hpt to make sure I wasn't crazy! He didn't believe it either at first, but after taking a digital one, we both believed it!
We told our parents in person already - too excited to hold it in. For everyone else, we are working on an announcement with our black labs.
I took a test at 11 dpo fully expecting it to be negative just like they had been for the last few days and I thought I saw a line if I held it in the right light and squinted at it. Since I wasn't sure though I didn't tell DH. I bought a frer after work and it definitely had a 2nd line! I made little paper signs that said big brother and big sister and put them on our dogs' collars for him to find when he came home. It took him a minute because the dogs would not stand still and all he could see was construction paper. He was like, "you made those?" And then was like "wait, you're pregnant?" It was awesome!
