2nd Trimester

Will the sickness stop now at 14 weeks?

I been told my sickness will stop now since I'm in my second trimester. I say sickness because mine is all day and not just in the morning time!

Re: Will the sickness stop now at 14 weeks?

  • I am currently going on week 27. I still haven't mild cases of morning sickness that comes and goes. This is my second pregnancy and I've been sicker this time around. I wish you the best in hoping the sickness goes away!

  • I was sick til about 15 weeks. After that mostly just went I didn't get enough sleep it would go back to that all next day. So whatever you do just make sure you keep up with lots of sleep even if starting to feel better. 8+ on weekdays and 10+ on weekends is best for me!
  • Everyone is different. With my first pregnancy I never had any morning sickness, then with my last pregnancy I had morning sickness for about 2 weeks and never had it again. This pregnancy, I've had it for about 3 weeks now and it's still going strong. One of my friends was sick the whole 9 months with both her pregnancies. There's literally not definite answer to when it'll stop.
  • I was sick the whole 9 months all day everyday with my first pregnancy. I felt better instantly after having him. I would be anywhere and I would vomit ! It sucked!
  • Sick till 20 weeks. Everyone is different
  • 14 weeks and still sick, BUT it does seem to have let up some. Honey, I hope you start feeling better, I know how it is. It's one of the most awful things. People don't understand what it's like to be sick for months straight at a time.

  • My morning sickness went away around 13 weeks, but at 24 weeks it's starting to come back. It's most likely because there's just no room for anything anymore. Every pregnancy is different, though, like PPs have said.
