Guess this is happening today...

I was in the middle of writing a post saying they were inducing me next week when OB came running down the hall to stop me and said sorry but we have to induce you today. They diagnosed me with pre-e and after being in L&D monitoring my BP and baby's heart they didn't feel comfortable letting me leave. As exciting as that is I start bawling as soon as I left the hospital. It was out of no where and even hearing about induction next week made me nervous bc of my induction with DD#1 was horrifying!!! I had so many emotions bc I didn't realize last night with DD was my last night with her being my only child. Anyways just wanted to tell someone since we're keeping it a surprise till we FaceTime with family after. Prayers would be appreciated bc I seeing had a horrible experience with my first induction!!!

Good luck!! I would've been emotional too. In fact with my first I started crying as soon as my doctor got on the phone and booked me in for the following night, I was so nervous and the pressure of it being my last night of 'just DH and I' was immense. I hope this one goes much better for you, they say second babies just slip out, right?? That's what I'm telling myself

Good luck! This happened to me with my first but I left, I went home, did a few things, packed up, went out for a last meal. They can't make you stay. I went back for the very unwanted induction but I refused to let them make me stay there and admit me and not let me get a little bit ready.

Good luck and I hope your induction goes well this time. We are kind of in the same boat. I'm a FTM and my doctor informed me today due to Pre-e and my rising BP they will induce on Wednesday morning at 12:30am. I am excited to meet my little one but am so nervous about the L&D and baby's development. I was told to be prepared to be in labor anywhere from 24-36 hours. I really wanted a vaginal delivery but I can't imagine the baby going through labor that long and not having issues. I just read that inductions before 39 weeks in first time moms are more likely to end in C-section. I'm an anxious nervous wreck. Maybe since this is your second baby things will go way smoother than your first time around. Good luck again.
