I haven't showered & my house is a mess

Besides potty training & taking care of my daughter, I have zero drive today. Bleh!

I'm so tired. I sleep, and dream of cake. Doing stuff seems so....remote.

  • With this constant nausea I have had for the past 2 months, my house looks like a war zone! We have no clean clothes, no clean dishes, my husband won't help out, and I can't wait to feel like myself again! I'm lucky to get a shower every 2 days. All I want to do is lie in bed.

Life is hard right now. Daughter luckily cleans her own room. My laundry is stacked to the ceiling it seems. I'll do like two loads and when we run out of clothes I force myself to wash another two. I don't think I'll ever get the entire pile to disappear. Laundry that does get washed and folded then gets put into stacks in my bedroom floor (in front of or beside the dressers where they go) I usually shower DD, but standing is just too much so she's been enjoying soaking in the tub for entirely too long. Cooking consists of something large that'll last a few days and we can eat sandwiches when we're tired of that. I mean seriously! I am so damn lazy! We had a cookout out/birthday party for DH grandmother today. I contemplated wearing a maxi dress so I didn't have to shave my legs. I ended up actually wearing shorts and managed to shave up to my knee. So ready for my energy to come back!
  • Hubby hired a cleaning lady. What a saint. If I could only find someone to do laundry for me though. I felt forced to shower to go to prenatal yoga today- I know what I smell like. Didn't need a room full of pregnant ladies like me smelling it too.
  • I've been laying in the same boat for entirely too long. I told my hubby that I get bursts of energy for like 20 minutes. I reserve that for showers and getting my daughter dressed. Lol I've been in the process of reorganizing my kitchen and decluttering the house. Needless to say, the house looks even more in shambles than usual because I can't seem to finish one task. I want to just light a match and start fresh.

I feel you, ladies! Ishower a maximum of every other day. My SO has always done the majority of the cooking, cleaning and laundry (seriously, ladies, formerly single dads who have their kids full time are diamonds) so the house hasn't fallen apart. But I find myself having to reeeeaaaallllyyyy force myself to find ways to contribute when I do have slivers of energy so he doesn't break up with me. Ahahah. He hasn't said a thing but I know my contributions have dwindled noticeably.
  • Omg I thought I was the only one lol I just cannot seem to get up the energy to clean the whole house. I clean 1 room up, maybe 2 and by the time I have energy to get to another room the other rooms are a mess and I just give up! I would also like to light a match and start fresh
  • I'll leave this right here for us ladies

  • I took my first shower of the weekend this afternoon. Then promptly ate a bowl of cereal and took a nap. My house is a complete disaster.
  • I finally had energy on Sunday. Power washed the back patio, folded and hung laundry, helped DS clean his room, and cleaned the garage!!
I feel a headache coming on and feeling nauseous again. So much for feeling better!

  • See, I was unshowered with a messy house before getting pregnant, so I just have no excuse, bahaha.

  • These posts make me feel sane. Such a blessing to hear experiences of other mamas out there that are similar to mine. It's my second pregnancy and the fatigue and nausea have been much more intense than the first time around. Hubbie did everything around the house for awhile. Feeling like I'm slowly getting my stride back. The laundry is clean you just have to dig it out of the pile. Baby steps. Thanks ladies!!

This is me every single morning of this pregnancy so far. If I didn't have a housekeeper, our house would be a federal disaster area.
