Has everyone seen the dr yet?

My EDD according to LMP is 3/20/16.

I got my blood work done on Tues & Thur but still waiting to hear the results.

My first dr appt is on Wednesday night.

Don't know about U/S yet.

Im so anxious!

I haven't seen mine yet but based on when I ovulated I will be due March 6th (lmp puts me at feb 29th).

Had blood work done on Friday. Ultrasound this upcoming week. But the only reason my doc is doing this when I'm only 6 and a half weeks is because she has to refer me to MFM specialist. Otherwise she wouldn't start the process til 8 weeks. It can feel like a long wait.

I saw my dr. On 6/30 (due 3/7 by ovulation lmp says 2/29). They did an appointment to confirm pregnancy, get history, do an exam (hadn't been to Drs for 18 months) and get a script to do bloodwork for hcg levels. My first ultrasound is 7/28 ... I'm so excited to see baby on the screen!! Last pregnancy I didn't get an appointment until 8 weeks, so it seemed odd they did one at 4.

I haven't! Calling OB on Tuesday. I've had three MCs (as well as 2 live births) so I'm assuming they'll do some betas to help calm the crazy crazy this coming week.

My OB sees patients between weeks 8-1, because they do an u/s as well. I haven't even called yet, but I figure I'll go the week of August 10th, I'll be a little over 8 weeks. I don't mind waiting because at the u/s I'll actually be able to hear the heart beat.

I had my first ultrasound last week. The practice I go to schedules the first appointment around 8 or 9 weeks. At the ultrasound baby was measuring 7 weeks 2 days which based on my 35-40 day cycles and ovulation date makes perfect sense. So my official due date is March 1st! It is a bit crazy feeling thinking I was further along that I actually am. My main struggle is that I found out so early so it feels like I have been keeping this secret forever.

*A little heads up for any other first time moms, the ultrasound was done transvaginal so I warned by DH beforehand. Did not hurt a bit though!

No doctor appt. yet. I go in this week, but it's just to confirm pregnancy (pee in a cup to find out what I already know) and to set up future appointments. I'm anxious too.

The first ultrasound is not alway transvaginal. With my first they had me come in with a full bladder and they first attempted transabdominal which was successful at 6 weeks for me. Not always the case but some practices will try it first.

@mommygrams0730, I'm in the same boat. For now I've just been enjoying being pregnant and taking it easy. I also don't want to go too early since the vaginal probe could damage inplantation. I used to work in an obgyn and the doctors and providers always said to wait until at least 8 weeks so for now I'm taking my prenatals my doc prescribed and eating healthy.

Really? I have never heard that. Why is okay to have sex but not a vaginal ultrasound? I'm just curious...

My first appointment is Tuesday. I'm due 3/25. I got my first BFP last Tuesday and this has been the longest week of my life. I thought waiting for my wedding was hard!

@lindscnn1, the probe could cause a Mc. They always said that the later you go the better. The only reason people go early is to make sure the baby is growing and that there is a heart beat. If you can wait it's much better for implantation. This isn't just one doctors opinion so I take it seriously since I knew these people for a long time. It's totally up to you since it's your body but that's what I learned while working there.

I thought that if you're pregnant, implantation has already occurred. I wouldn't think a transvaginal ultrasound would affect anything. My RE normally does them at 6 and 8 weeks.

My first appt is Tuesday and I will be 8 weeks. Not sure what the doctor is planning as last time with ds she saw me at 5 weeks to confirm and 10 weeks for viability (we only had an ultrasound because they couldn't find a heartbeat). This will be my first appointment, I am hoping she will check viability with u/s and not make me go back in 2 weeks.

I am jealous of these early ultrasounds....I have a bloodwork appt in a week (I will be 6 weeks). Then they will do the ultrasound at 10 weeks, at the end of August.

I will go in to see my OB on 8-4, but there won't be an exam or anything. I am just getting a letter saying I am fit for travel. My first exam is 8-27 and I schedule my ultrasound after that. I probably won't get to see my little leprechaun until September.

I feel so far behind! My first appointment isn't until 8/19 Even then I'm not meeting with the doctor. It's to set up things with billing and get lab work. They said I'll schedule my doctor's appointment then.

EDD based on LMP is 3/21 but I ovulated late and so the more detailed predictors put me at 3/27.

My first appointment is 8/4. It is with the ultrasound tech/staff only. My first appointment with my actual doctor won't be scheduled until after the 8/4 appointment, and will be set up for when I am measuring around 12 weeks. My EDD based on LMP is 3/18.

My first appointment is 8/13- I will be exactly 9 weeks. I'm not expecting an u/s since I only had 1 (20 week anatomy scan) with my DD. I'm excited to hear the heartbeat though!

I won't get to see the doc until 11 weeks

and it didn't sound like there would be an ultrasound, which is totally different from last time, when I had an ultrasound at 8 weeks. Just different practices because we're in a different city, maybe?

My first apt is tomorrow 7/22 with EDD 3/11 based on LMP... I was told we would be doing blood work, a pelvic and breast exam, and general q&a since I'm a FTM! I was told the first US will be between 8-10 weeks.

I haven't made appointment yet.. i dont know what im waiting for my EDD is 3/13 bassed on LMP.. im 6.1 weeks and i dont know when the best time to go would be?... This is my first and I'm. Scared about having a MC because my sis just had one

A lot of OBs/Midwives want to see you for the first appointment between 8-10 weeks. And it might give you a lot of peace of mind when you actually do go in.

First appointment is this Friday and they will do a transvaginal ultrasound to check the heartbeat. EDD is 3/3. Getting excited for it!

With my first pregnancy the doctor didn't even want to see me until 10 weeks (and no u/s until the NT scan), so I was a little surprised when my new OB said they schedule routine 7w ultrasounds. I go in August 3rd. I wonder why this practice has such different schedules, they're both great hospitals in MA.

I am asking the difference between a vaginal ultrasound vs sex. I have had 5 previous pregnancies and as long as I wasn't high risk I was told sex is fine. I am confused as why a vaginal ultrasound would disrupt the implantation? That's what I meant.

I saw my OB today since I had a bit of spotting. They did an ultrasound and realized I was earlier than I originally thought since my last period was is May but I was under a lot of stress in June so I didn't really get my period. I go back in 3 weeks for another ultrasound and my appt. they took bloodwork today so my doctor would have the result at my next appointment. Even though I was early I got to see my little one and the flicker of the heartbeat which was amazing.

I had my first appt last Monday. We did an ultra sound and general exam. My due date is March 1st and we were able to see the heartbeat!

I don't meet with my OB until 13+1... AFTER my NT scan. Crazy cakes!
