So ladies, i tripped in my kitchen and fell on my knees and hands. . There was a lot of impact so I'm so scared if my baby is okay has this ever happened to any one of you? I can't call the doctor since it's late so should i go to the ER?
Your baby is very well protected. I personally wouldn't go to the ER unless you are havign bad cramping and bleeding. If you are still worried, I would give your Ob a call in the morning and see what they recommend
If you didn't hit your belly you are probbaly fine. I'm a clutz and fall a lot especially when I'm pregnant. There's a lot of padding in there. Drink some water and relax. If you have any bleeding or bad cramping call you doc. If you are still freaked out call your doc for some peace of mind.
I'm not a doc so if you want a medical opinion call your doctors office.
Other ladies have fell. I've commented on their threads, too. Maybe check em out? Falling is scary but you fell the best way possible IMO. I agree with everything the PPs have said.

Same. I've commented on other posts about this. Should be fine.
Up until my gall bladder started wigging out, my 2 yr old would love to jump on me. On my back, my side, my belly, my legs, anywhere he could manage. If that didn't upset the belly squid, I think your's will be fine too. If you have bad cramping or bleeding, like PP said, call your doctor, but otherwise, your fine.
I have been in a minor car accident and had a small dog jump on my stomach several times, a friend at work also jabbed me jokingly in the stomach before I told them I was preg. So far all okay. I'm not a doctor or medical professional but the way I understand it from the internet is that there is lots of padding around the baby! Try not to worry!
I've been playing volleyball, lots of jumping and impact with no issues. I'm sure your body has protected your little baby! If you're not cramping in sure you're fine.
Women have been living life and giving birth for around 200,000 years. If a minor fall on the knees could do harm to the baby, I think our species would have died out long ago. You will be fine.
It was a simple question.. i freaked out i haven't been pregnant 15 times before, so everything is new to me like gazillion other ftms here! And this is what this discussion board is for. . If you're so compelled to express your aggressiveness in comments then I'd suggest to start some kind of physical activity where you can release it rather than being rude to pregnant women who are already dealing with enough!
What is the point of this!? That's going too far
OP I don't think anyone was being rude except the person who said something about punching in the stomach. You got some good advice and nice responses. The others were just encouraging you not to go to the ER for a non life threatening reason.
We are typically pretty snarky 'round these parts, @Higheelz, but I do think your question was appropriately answered.. Your baby is well protected in there and a fall on your knees shouldn't be a problem. Not really sure about @jezzebelhenry though. Like I said, that was uncalled for and cruel.
Vvithazel, i agree with you. Everyone gave nice responses except for one. And my response was for her specifically. I should've tagged her name. I'm just tired of seeing all the rude comments for general questions on other posts as well. Thanks for everyone else for the kind words but some people need to be called for their rude behavior.
Okay @Higheelz we think that @jezzebelhenry was responding to @ChrissyD1203 comment about being jabbed in the stomach by a coworker who didn't know she was pregnant earlier up in this thread. But this is why it's important to reference things we're responding to in threads. Eta by "we" I mean a few other bumpies and I were discussing this in another thread. I don't have multiple personalities that I know of
Oh i didn't understand that when i first read it and i tried to read it again and again to make some sense of it. I got as confused as everyone else was. Thanks for explaining
@Higheelz I'm so sorry! I started this confusion - I had a light fist to my stomach (done in a joking manner by a female coworker) and I was totally fine. I think @jezzebelhenry was concerned for me!!!! I'm almost 100% sure that she wasn't suggesting you be punched in the stomach! So sorry everyone!!!!
I had a bad injury (for me), 2 weeks ago. I tripped, lost balance, went flying through the air and hit a metal bed frame with my head. Bleeding, lacerations, double vision, but no loss of consciousness. Went to ER, got stitches, CT scan with baby shielded with lead. Still have a black eye after 2 weeks. BUT, nothing hit my mid-section, I had no pain or cramping. Neither I nor anyone in the ER was concerned about baby. It helps that I'm a physician assistant, so didn't freak out. So what I'm telling you is, don't worry! Human bodies are really tough and resilient.
@Higheelz, to tag someone in a post you have to put the "@" in front of their name. They will be more likely to notice it as they should get some sort of notification when it occurs and it shows up in a different color.
Re: I fell on my knees! :(
If you are still freaked out call your doc for some peace of mind.

Eta - didn't tag anyone. Duh

Hopefully you're fine from your fall a few days ago now.

Hope everything is ok!
