Baby name help!

We're having a baby girl on August 14 via scheduled csection. This is our second child and our son was not named after anyone in the family. I share a middle name with my grandmother, so my mom seems to think we're giving her the same middle name as my mom. The last couple of years have been very rocky with my family and they haven't really been there for us during some big events/moments, so I'm not sure how I feel about the whole thing. I don't want to start WWIII, but I can't seem to feel comfortable with the idea. We are pretty set on the name Daisy, but can't think of any other middle name ideas. My mom's middle name is Leann. Thoughts??

    I like Daisy Leann. My sister's middle name is Leann and mine is Leana. So you could always use Leana instead, it's just a different form of the same name. And hopefully your family struggles won't last forever and it will eventually be a nice gesture your daughter will cherish.

    How about instead of using ur moms middle name.. Just use part of it.
    Like Daisy Lee/Leigh or Daisy Ann(e)

    Btw I LOVE Daisy for ur little girls first name!!

    We were actually thinking about Daisy Lee since we could still say she was named after my mom, but not fully! Haha

    I am literally in the same exact situation!... Mom has her grandmas first name as her middle name & have my grams first name as mine as well. The biggest problem here is that our last name is Mitchell and my moms name is Michelle. I think it sounds/looks really awkward. My husband suggested Hadlee Mae and I love it. As soon as I mentioned it to my mother though she thought of every reason in the book why I shouldn't use Mae. I feel like someday I might feel guilty if I don't use my moms name, but right now I'm just not feeling it. :(:(

    Yeah you can't use Michelle as a MN if your daughters last name is Mitchell. You could use another family name or your mom's mn.
