This is my second pregnancy. My first was very easy in the beginning and only got worse.. But I have a very healthy three year old boy!
This pregnancy, however, has been tough so far. I had some cramping and brown spotting about a week or two ago. I went to the ER and turns out I had a uti. I've never had one before and didn't know what to look for. But everything got better! I thought..
The doctor started checking my hcg levels every two days. On Thursday, July 9th, my levels were 174. On the 11th, 283. 13th 435, the 15th only 540. I was really beginning to worry. The next day, Thursday morning at work I started bleeding.
It looked just like period blood. And it only happened for a short time. By the time I left work and hurried home it was already going away. But of course, I got more blood work done.
Honestly, I expected the numbers to decrease. But they were 849. I know that's not doubling but it was the biggest increase I've seen so far. My doctor seemed hopeful!
I have a transvaginal us Monday and another blood draw, I'm really anxious to get my results.
Today I tried work again, because I have been off a lot lately, and I started spotting, but after coming home and laying down it stopped and I've been fine.
I don't know what to expect Monday, and I don't know what to do bout work!
