If only my uterus had a window...

I would love to watch this baby so I know just WTF he is doing in there! I swear he turned head down earlier today (been frank breech since at least 20 weeks) as it felt like he was trying to push his way out my belly button. Right now he is down low and squirming a lot, with a few quite painful jabs here and there.

Anyone else noticing the movements getting more forceful and painful?

  • Yes! I wouldn't exactly call the latest movements painful, but definitely a lot more forceful, sometimes I feel like the baby is going to pull a Spaceballs and push its way out of my stomach. It kicks at times, but most of the movement I feel is more of a "rolling" down below. Every ultrasound the baby has been head down, it seems like the baby is moving his or her head up and down, side to side, over and over.

Yep! Sometimes it hurts when he kicks! DX one time he kicked me so hard in the bladder I almost wet my pants. Thanks, kid.
  • Yes!!! I've said the same thing! I want to see what he's up to when I'm feeling all this weird stuff!
  • Twice today it felt like my son kicked me right in the vaj

  • Baby found my ribs yesterday, hasn't been kicking so much as using them as a good support to stretch off of. It's a lot of pressure and not comfortable! Tonight baby is kicking so far back! Where you would normally put your hand on your hip I'm watching and feeling kicks. It's so weird to be so far back. Baby has been head down since 20 weeks or earlier but feels a little more transverse today. I'd love to see what's going on in there!

  • Baby likes to get up on my right side and press against me. It feels like a cramp you get if you go swimming too soon after eating. DH will push on him and rub the spot he's against until he moves. My little ham.

Earlier today, I think she may have had hiccups, because what I was feeling had a certain rhythm. Either that or she was practicing Riverdance in there!

Yeah, we go through the hiccups at least twice a day! Usually right around 11 to noon and about 9-10 pm. And they seem to never end!

I've been finishing kick counts in ridiculously short times, too! The day of my 3h GTT I finished one in 7 seconds, just for S's and G's.
  • I swear, mine does flips sometimes! She also has one particular spot where she curls up. She makes a lump on my belly, which is kinda funny, but a little uncomfortable at times.
  • It's funny I saw this post. Just last night I told my husband that I wish I had a see through belly! I really want to see what she's doing in there. Her movements are getting stronger and bigger and much more uncomfortable... She hasn't gotten to the level of my ribs yet, but boy I'm not looking forward to that.
  • I just told my husband this. I just want to look inside and see what she's doing.
  • Just wait till they're born and then you'll be able to watch the random newborn kicks and air punches and think, "so THAT's what I was feeling!" Although, in the womb, they do a lot more flips and turns than they do on the outside.

  • Maybe baby normally moves like this during the week when I am at work and I just am distracted, but wow has he been busy since Saturday morning! Frequently I would laugh and hubby would ask why. I would reply that baby's moving. A lot! At one point I actually video taped my stomach because watching it became that interesting!
  • Mine has been so super active lately. He's got all kinds of moves that crack me up. My daughter's love watching it. Funny thing is he's so calm when I go swimming.
  • OMG! I totally just said this to my husband yesterday! Wouldn't it be way cooler if there was a little window so we could see what baby is doing?!
  • I swear mine is doing the splits this morning because I get synchronized kicks on each side. So crazy. I have no idea what's going on in there. Lol
