So this is my first time ttc. I'm 24 and my husband is 26. We made the decision in late April, early May... so its not that weve been trying long. But I feel like there is so much information out there, and I get so confused.
I'm irregular on my cycles. I can have a 30 day cycle or a 70 day cycle (and it's not fun!). I've been trying to make sure that I'm doing BBT right, and I'm not sure I am. Sometimes it fluctuates in large intervals, sometimes it's consistant. And I'm not sure if I wake up at 7am and go back to sleep until 8 am (without getting out of bed) should I take my BBT then or wait until 8am...?!
I'm also trying wondfo test strip and have been getting two lines (but not yet a positive 2 dark lines) for about a week or so now. So I'm just curious if it's possible my irregular cycles could be affecting the test some how.
I haven't gone to see the obgyn yet, but my regular physician seems to think there isn't any issues with me. But, any ladies who also have irregular cycles or any suggestions, it's all welcome

Re: Irregular first time ttc
The best way to make sure you're getting the most accurate and consistent reading of your BBT is to set an alarm for earlier in the morning than you would usually wake up, and at the same time every day. This ensures that you are (usually) waking up at the same time with a good amount of sleep, and not just when you happen to wake up. Good luck!

@PrimRoseMama I'm in DFW now, but Pflugerville is home! I was just down there visiting this last weekend. I didn't realize we had so many Texas ladies!
OP- I originally started temping orally and my temps were all over the map, but vaginally they're much more consistent. I'm not so much a mouth breather, but I am definitely a night time drinker. I have to have a bottle of water all the time and that effects my BBT. If this cycle is a bust for you I'd try vaginally at the beginning of your next cycle.

And Hello from the Big D (we actually live just outside Dallas)
>:D<
I know I mouth breath while sleeping, and never considered that an issue!! I usually try to wake up at 8AM for work (and on my days off just from habit) and take it then. Some days, like the last couple, I wake up SUPER early (for me HAHA) randomly and can't go back to sleep, so I end up taking it at 7 or 730.
I do use F.F. LOVE IT. I did finally detect the O day! (WOOT WOOT \:D/ ) But I think I am going to look into vaginally temping to see if it'll help regulate those pesky numbers!
How is everyone else coming along in their luck?!

However, everyone is different. Your reasons for irregular cycles may not be the same as mine. It could be PCOS, hypothyroidism, or something else.
